Arcobaleno, a beautiful word, means rainbow in Italian. This word has inspired us to create the slogan of our restaurant as “The Color of Taste”.The Color of Taste is representing to our variety of authentic Italian recipes that we serve through our warm, comfortable, and lovely atmosphere. We are proudly using our original recipes even though we have moved from an original location, Babelon, located in front of Chiang Mai University. An antique wooden house in the large garden was transformed into Arcobaleno, the lovely Italian restaurant with plenty of parking spaces. This place is decorated with the inspiration of clean, comfortable, and relaxed impression that you will perceive as very much feeling like eating at your lovely home. In addition, you will be able to enjoy your meal either inside the building or outside, surrounded with a peaceful garden. The yellow wall inside the restaurant has been decorated with the pictures of our big Chef Renato Magni, who is the head of this family own restaurant. He has invented his own Italian food recipes for more than thirty years together with his Italian cuisine experience in many countries around the world. The sample menu features a page of signature dishes; beef and salmon carpaccio, along with Riso pilaf primavera, Italian’ rice with fresh or Risotto Nero, Italian’ rice the squid ink. The second page is all kind of appetizer such as Crab meat Au Gartin, the most popular dish. Gambiri alla Salas di Creama, shrimo and mushroom combination in wine sauce, which is serve with smooth and creamy mashed potatoes. The mixed salad is only sixty baht, or we would recommend you to try our always delicious Capreses Salad, a tomato salad with parmesan cheese and olive oil served with homemade Italian dressing. The third page contains soup and vegetarian dishes, all kind of soup is only sixty baht, and we are also serving specialty menus for our vegetarian offerings. The Gnocchi mal fatti, gnocchi is mixed with spinach ricotta, parmesan, and mozzarella cheeses, is served with a choice of cream sauce or tomato/herb sauce. Our vegetarian pastas are priced at 130-160 baht. Our main meat dishes are included choices of chicken, duck, beef, veal, pork, fish, and frog. The grilled pork chops, served with a mushroom, wine sauce, and fresh steamed vegetables, is one of our specialties that you should not miss it.Our must-try homemade ice cream is served at thirty five baht per serving. We do have variety of choices you can choose such as Black Prune ice cream, Ginger with honey, and all kind of fruits ice cream, depended on the fruit season. Tiramisu cake, which is serve with a generous dollop of whipped cream. The secret of our deliciousness is the fresh seasoning and the use of our organic raw Italian materials such as tomato, basil, rosemary, and parsley. These materials are grown by us in our plentiful backyard. This explanation is why our food is very fresh, organic, and delicious as well as we are differentiated from others. If you love and think of Italian food, we always welcome you to Arcobaleno, “The Color of Taste”.Arcobaleno Italian Restaurant open daily at 11:00AM-2:00PM for lunch, and 5:30PM-10:00PM for dinner. I can't really say this resto's name, but it's set in a spacious area. Too bad the exterior is not v. inviting. Inside decor also not exciting, but the food is! i had crepes stuffed with mushroom in white sauce, friend had salmon and I recall the NERO black squid ink best! The waiter explained... read more

I have been coming here since I was a child. It's a great place to come with your family. The service is good, there is a main server and he is the best and he'll make you feel very taken care of. They have the best pasta in Chiangmai, it's cook al dente every time. One thing to keep in... More

Went there today 5th April 2015 for dinner with my wife and daughter. This is probably finest Italian food I had ever. The quality of ingredients was remarkable. The taste was very authentic. It was surprising to have such meal in very unknown place in Chiang Mai. Tiramisu is a must. Loved it. Will try to go again before leaving... More

Never thought or expected an Italian restaurant in Chiangmai that served such tasteful Italian food . Our very friendly host - nicknamed by us as Mr Al Capone - served us the most wonderful food prepared by his sister - and note : both mr Al Capone and his sister are Thai!

Was disappointed with this restaurant the first time I visited last year. At the request of a friend tried again last week and was yet again disappointed. The place lacks any atmosphere, the staff look drab and are mostly unprofessional and the food for me was really middle of the road. We did have a very nice Ceasar Salad for... More

Every time I go to Arcobaleno with friends, we always start our meal with crab au gartin and chef salad. Every bite of the crab au gartin is filled with crab meat and cheese. So delicious that we often order more every time. The chef salad is so refreshing with the dressing that is a little tangy but with the... More
