The first time I went there must e 15 years ago. You can find a good deal of Thai classic dishes. The quality of the food is good but the real attraction is the fact this not a glittering place but has an authentic feel.

Location is very good being just next to Emporium. We were seated at a corner next to a window overlooking a small garden and we thought the atmosphere was rather romantic. We like the green curry with roast duck and the Banana Flowers Salad was very refreshing but at the price of TBH1290 for 2, there are better restaurants in... More

We walked past Lemongrass and looked in and thought it was quite rustic and quirky, had our last night in Bangkok dinner there and was super delicious. We actually realised that it was the same place we came to around 8 years ago, don't think the decor had changed that much in all those years. The staff were very friendly,... More

Decor and ambiance is fine. But the food has gone down hill. Chicken tastes like CP chicken and not quality Happy Chicken (organic). Green Pork curry we left. Fish was bland. Tom Kha Gai soup wasn't as good as previous. Don't know what's happened. I've been to this restaurant with visitors many times but don't think i will be bringing... More

Maybe the chef was ill or had a bad day - our menu was probably the poorest one we got in Thailand. It was flavourless, without any herbs and carelessly put on the plates. Actually I think we got a very special boring menu because we were tourists. Inadvisable.

I had stayed three times at the Doubletree Hotel, very near this restaurant, and I had read many good reviews, I finally decided to try it out. The atmosphere is certainly quite nice; the restaurant has a very welcoming feel. I was with one other person, and both of us found it a bit disappointing; that could be because our... More

We had spent most of November traveling around Asia before finding this gem! Food was the best Thai food that we had experienced during our travels. The service was excellent with the price being mid range for good Thai food. Due to its casual atmosphere would not be the place, for a intimate dinner, but a fun place to relax,... More

Lemongrass restaurant is informal and charmingly old. The food is invariably excellent and the staff are attentive and efficient. I have been eating at this place during visits and periods of residence for more than sixteen years and have never had a bad dish. Not one. Authentic, well presented and reasonably priced Thai food at its' best.

A wonderful, small restaurant of old tradition. A must once in Bangkok. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, cheap price. Highly recommended!!!
