Tasty in a shabby chic sort of way

We went for a birthday meal on a recommendation from a friend. The food was tasty but I felt a bit rushed and I wasn't sure how authentic it was. The surroundings are a bit like a musty antique shop. Interesting if you like that sort of thing.

Been here numerous times and was always happy with the quality of the food and the quality of the ingredients. I realized that the food is always more spicy when I am going for Thai friends. In Thailand there seems to be a presumption that foreigners do not eat spicy food. So it is better to specify that you want... More

Nothing to write home about. Basic Thai food in a plain décor surrounding. Reasonably priced, but we found equal quality for less.

The food was excellent, had come highly recommended. But they seemed to be pushing us all the time, like they wanted us in and out. But if you want good food and don't mind being rushed, go for it. Prices are a lot higher than some of the other nearby places.

Overprice food. Cost us 6000 baht for a table for 9 where another thai resturant cost only 1200 for a table of 4.

The resturant was recomended by the staf in our hotel and we went there twice. The service was good, the food was good and they had good wine at reasonable prices. Not all resturants in Thailand has that.

Went for late lunch with a friend. We arrived around 1:45pm and as soon as we walked in, waiter looked so annoyed and rushed us , said last order is now, so we were forced to order our food right away while we were looking at drink menu. We ordered 1 salad, 1 curry and 1 vegetable plus 2 portion... More

Frequented by the expat community (locals impressing business associates) and tourists, this is a place full of ambience. We ate inside but the garden area is lovely. Food is good (we ate Pad Thai which was not on the menu but they were happy to do it and it was fabulous), some excellent minced chicken with ginger which you wrap... More

After two weeks in Thailand, this restaurant, except a beach hut in Koh Chang, was the worst. English Earl Gray tea is 150 baht, two shrimps and some sauce was 350 baht. Didn't taste anything, not particularly nice setting, not friendly staff. Seriously save your money or go nuts and invite 10 friends to a local restaurant where the food... More

Lemongrass restaurant also has been in Bangkok for ages. It is just in the beginning of Soi 26 when you come from Sukhumvit at your left hand side. Be careful, before you know, you pass it already. The menu is not very extensive, but what they serve is authentic Thai food. Try the duck !! Be aware that they close... More
