Wonderful food - some of the best in Bangkok

A friend and I ate at Baan Khanitha tonight for dinner and had a great experience. The food was very well prepared with lots of good spice and flavor. The stir-fried pork with chili and hot basil was wonderful as was the chicken Massaman curry. I would have given it five stars had the service... read more

This restaurant was recommended to us for good Thai food in Bangkok. We had better throughout the city. The atmosphere was rather pedestrian. We just got the impression it was open for the tourists - sit them down, feed them and turn it over when the next bus comes in. Service was not friendly and slow to bring check.

As what is mentioned under the title, food is not bad, i rated it 4 out of 5. But there are too many mosquitoes. I had alot of mosquitoes' bites on my leg; even though the staffs tried to use electric swatter to kill the mosquitoes. I can even see some of the mosquitoes flying anove my head. I dont... More

Had dinner at S23 restaurant. Very nice Thai cuisine restaurant. Most dished are delicious and refined. Price is higher a bit. Complimentary Tuk Tuk service to Sukhumvit Rd is available. The only disappointing point was that waiters are gloomy and not friendly.

This restaurant was recommended by our local tour guide, who was wonderful in every way. The initial service was good, but we thought the food was more traditional Chinese than Thai (with breading and sweet and sour sauce on dishes where we weren't expecting either of those features). We were jet lagged - ordered the check and 30 minutes later... More

Very good service and food! However, my choice was not the best I've ever had in Thailand! Nice atmosphere too. However, it's a business oriented restaurant.

We have just relocated to Bangkok and happen to live very close to Baan Khanitha on Sathorn road an old favourite restaurant of ours so needless to say we were excited to go back. We ordered our usual favourites ie the Pomelo Salad and Chiang Mai northern sausages as starters and red and green chicken curry as msin courses. My... More

Food was faultless. The very freshest produce, expertly cooked in an authentic way. We were taken by another Thai family and found the restaurant comfortable and service excellent. We will return again as this was the best food we had eaten in Thailand.

Food good, service good. Dessert was very delicious. Only sad thing was no coconut juice available when we visited. The Thai iced tea was superb!
