Good Thai food

My most expensive and yummy meal in Thailand. Stayed over at metropolitan Como and decided to dropby since it is just a 5 mins walk over. Food is general good including the complimentary starter which I initially mistook as condiments. The meal cost around thb2500 for 4 dishes, a dessert and 2... read more

The restaurant is located in the popular Sathorn Road area nearly across from Convent Road. It is well situated to the many tourist hotels in the area. The appetizer was exceptional and complimentary. It consists of leaves and several small bowls on a tray. One is informed that a bit of each ingredient should be rolled into the cup formed... More

If you're a fusspot for good food and service and don't mind paying for it, this is the place for you. The ambience is higher end and the food quality is without question. Very tasty. You mustn't miss the mango sticky rice which comes with a scoop of coconut ice cream. It was the best I've tasted. However, don't expect... More

I am a returning customer. Even tough this place is pricey, but this place is suitable for the one expensive meals to eat in Bangkok. About 2000THB for 3 pax without alcohol.

While it will definitely be one of your most, if not your most, expensive Thai meals in Bangkok, the food here is extremely good.

This place is very smart with nice first impression from the impressive building. The food was great too (all Thai style) and not too expensive for such an upscale place.

Food, service and atmosphere is good. I do recommend bringing a group of 4 pax in order to order more food. Expect to pay Singapore prices. Service was excellent. Foodwise, the pomelo salad is a must order.

Once a great restaurant, these days quite costly and serving ordinary food that won't frighten the westerners. Don't.

We called here for a quick lunch with friends. The genuine Thai food was delicious and presented in an unfussy style. The restaurant was cool and airy. The staff looked after us very well. Genuinely enjoyable!

This restaurant is possibly a little more upscale and in a good location. Dress is casual but recommend slacks for men with collared shirt. The menu here I extensive which makes picking something difficult. With a table of six, everyone enjoyed their food. They have a wine cellar and a very well done wine lit. Wine prices were similar to... More

Staying in Sathorn

Neighborhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
