Coffee and Cakes

I took my staff here for morning coffee as a treat. Bann Khanitha in Sathorn have a small coffee shop attached to the restaurant serving a great range of cakes and some snacks. Was very enjoyable and I do recommend this if your looking for a quiet place to sit and relax over a coffee.

Having had great memories from business trips several years ago, brought the family here on vacation. Everything except price was mediocre. Service was without smiles, food was OK, but the crab fried rice was tasteless. 4600 baht for 4 adults 3 small kids (who mainly ate the fried shrimp on a stick) is not cheap for BKK. No one was... The food here is really amazing and the prices for the quality of the restaurant can not be beat. I'm vegetarian and reached for a sauce the the server ran over and informed me the sauce had fish in it before I put it in my food. He also showed us how to eat some of the foods the proper... More

I had the glass noodle salad as a starter and the shrimp and pineapple red curry. The service was the best I have had in my 2 week stay in Thailand. The salad was very flavorful, but the curry was a dish I will never forget. Spicy and sweet. The shrimp were so fresh. I will always be hunting to... More

Bann Khanitha used to be one of the best Thai restaurants in the city, but not anymore. It presents soulless, moderately flavoured "Thai" cuisine that tastes like it should come from a supermarket freezer rather than from a restaurant kitchen. Thoroughly disappointing.

This restaurant is located next to the pier at Asiatique. The shuttle boats from the various river front hotels and the free shuttle boat stop directly in front of it. We dined here with a large group and were seated at a table upstairs with a nice view of the river. Since we were with a group we had the... More

Food and Service excellent, but the greeting was insincere, and the temperature to warm for Europeans and the lighting to bright. However the food was excellent, with a very large interesting menu, and they were happy to cut back on the spicing as it does not agree with me My Thai friend was impressed with the quality of the food... Good food. Will give you spicy if you ask for it. One of the best mango sticky rices I have had. Expensive meal for Thailand.
