Being Indian food lovers, my girlfriend and I are very excited that our chosen hometown offers a wide selection of options, from small Thali joints to nicer dining experiences like Mrs. Balbir's. On our first visit we tried the Dal Makhani as well as the Aloo Palak, both of which were very nice, though they could have been a bit... More

I have been visiting Mrs Balbir's restaurant in Sukhumvit Soi 11/1 for over a decade. In my recent visit the standard of food was as high as ever and I received the customary warm welcome and high standard of service. All of the food is high quality and well presented but I particularly recommend Mrs. Balbir's chicken vindaloo, which I... More

Been here so many times and have had a bad expirience only once. This place is not meant for a quick fast food kind of an expirience. One has to indulge in the food here to be get a wow feeling and come out feeling divine. Afterall if the owner of the hotel is part of the food committee for... More

We traveled in Thailand from May 31st to June 8th. While in Bangkok, we were looking for some good place to eat authentic Indian food. Amongst many options we found on the internet, we homed on to Mrs Balbir’s restaurant. The brand has been candidly positioned to give a personal touch, and it immediately struck a chord with us. We... More

The best venue is the original restaurant in the small Soi (lane) connecting Sukhumvit Soi 11 with the main Sukhumvit road. The food is superb, service is very good and the ambience and decor, pleasing. Try the butter chicken, pilau rice with Bombay aloo, a great combination. I have eaten there and ordered take away over 25 times in the... More

I am actually reviewing Mrs Balbir's restaurant on Soi 11. I find it the best Indian venue in Bangkok. the food is surprisingly light and tasty even for those who don't handle Indian food too well. Her ambassadorship with Thai Airways, together with the cooking classes the venue provides, there is obviously enough action to ensure fresh food every day!... More

Tucked awaybehind Dosa King in Sukhumvit Bangkok, this restaurant serves good food. The masala chaas was very good. They have good options for vegetarians also. Service is fast.Waiters are courteous. If indian food on your mind, this place is worth a visit.
