As soon as you arrive here you feel like royalty. The staff instantly helping you from your car and taking your bags. They even noted the name on our luggage so they could welcome us by name as they whisked us away to check-in. Check in was very smooth and efficient. Plenty of information and a really nice cold drink!... More

As a local who has frequented this five-star hotel since its inception in the 1990s, I must say that the range and quality of food and services offered by this magnificent hotel are unparalleled, and have remained so for over several decades, with marked consistency. I have tried all its current and previous bars and restaurants, particularly Piers 59, Moon... More

Decided to make a trip here on a Saturday evening and it has been the highlight of the trip so far. If you want the best views of Bangkok then you must go here. We booked through the hotel, got a taxi here then enjoyed a drink at Moon bar before being shown our table. If you are looking for... More

WOW! This place is amazing. The staff can't do enough for you, and everything is perfect. It's so clean and fresh, and so peaceful despite being in the middle of Bangkok. Vertigo is well worth a trip! We went up all three nights of our stay as the views were out of this world. Would go back in a heartbeat,... More

The view and atmosphere is simply amazing. Service is also superb. Food was fairly basic, but on the other hand the red wine we had was one of the best I've had.

You don't visit here for the food as while it's good it's the view you plan for. We were a large party and we waited too long for service to start but once it got going it improved. We all had the Wagyu beef my colleagues loved it but maybe I got a bad piece as mine wasn't so good.

In a city where it is very hard to find a bad restaurant the Banyan is a disappointment. We where 8 people, didnt go too crazy with our order and the bill came to US$700, very expensive but if the food would have been as good I would be writing this bad review.

We had a room with a sitting room on 33rd floor and the views of the city and river in the distance were amazing. The bedroom has a huge bed and everything is white linen and brown wood. The bathroom is also large with a fab sunken bath and shower. All the toiletries come in jars. The scene are those... More

This was our second stay at the Banyan Tree in Bangkok. We had such great memories of our first stay that we didn't hesitate to book again 4 years later. We were not disappointed. The staff are incredible. So friendly and helpful. We were checked in by a lovely lady called Akiko and as soon as we arrived, we were... More

Staying in Sathorn

Neighborhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
