Fabulous views from this restaurant. Food was extremely good. We had mixed hors d'oeuvres and they were lovely. Sea bass was lovely. We ordered spring rolls as extra starter and we really didn't need to as was too much! Thai green curry lovely too. Expensive...wine particularly so but that is something we have found across all of Asia.

We have visited Bangkok many times and have been talking about going on a river dinner cruise. We decided to book the Apsara cruise because of very good reviews and the intimate style of the cruise. Shuttle service from Banyan tree hotel is included in the price or alternatively you can go to the River City shopping mall where the... More

A romantic river cruise servicing authentic Thai cuisine. Staff introduced dishes served and they are attentive in our needs. The cruise lasted about 2.5 hours while making 2 stops near the famous riverside landmarks for phototaking. Its a must try experience unlike other cruise operators there, using huge boat with live band and buffet dinner... Totally different atmosphere.

This is a must do. Jim the manager of the cruise goes out of his way to make such a memorable experience. The food is excellent and it is a great way to see some of the important sights along the river.

Fantastic exquisite menu. Like Thai I have never tasted before. Fantastic views at night over the city. Visited this place twice. Service impeccable. Keep up the excellent work, because I'm telling all my friends to visit you when they are in Bangkok. Thanks for making our taste buds tingle!!!! You pay for what you get, and that's gooooood Thai food!

I decided to book this cruise after doing some research on the internet and I am glad that I chose this instead of others. All dinner cruises depart at the same dock, so I had a chance to see that other cruises. There were 7 other cruises on the night and there are about 30 to 40 people on each... More

Fancy a great steak or international classics this is the place for a dinner with a view. Good offers for packages from time to time, book a table and bring some friend. Ladies to bring a shawl as it might be windy at the top. Best for group or business. Food good but view and rooftop best.

I am a fan of Banyan tree restaurants. Usually go to Romsai as I have the BT Gourmet card since 2008. This time, we tried the japanese restaurant on 53st floor. We got unique view. Amazing service and above all, fantastic food. Loved it Will return. Thanks for the treat.

We had just come from the Banyan Tree in Phuket, which also had a 'Saffron' serving the very same menu. So we really did have something to compare it with !! OK, so how did it compare especially since we deliberately chose the same dishes? The answer is very well. Phuket had been good but there was a greater sophistication... More

We stayed at the Banyan Tree so our pick up was via mini bus from the hotel lobby which was excellent but didn't enjoy hanging around in a shopping centre for half an hour waiting to get on the boat at the docking area. The boat itself is lovely, your table is pre-allocated, food was very good (including vegetarian menu... More
