If you eat here expect to be treated like a star. Everything is very professional and high class. The presentation was great, the staff was great, but the food was just good. I didn't leave feeling like, "wow that was the best meal in Bangkok". We had two drinks (non alcoholic), an appetizer, two main courses, pad thai, and a... More

The food was just okay - I would say it's only food court standard in Bangkok. The ingredients weren't fresh and the dishes were nothing close to creative or delicious. The only thing we were happy about was the setting, but that's it - will never visit again.

Our hotel is across the road from the Blue Elephant so it was an easy choice to make. We felt like royalty in the restaurant, service is great, the food is quite amazing and the interiour is just like you've travelled back to the colonial days, wow!

With such an abundance of fresh, tasty & cheap Thai food all over Bangkok, I wouldn't bother dining at Blue Elephant if it weren't for its charming colonial dining atmosphere. The red curry duck was lackluster - the breast was over cooked and its thick rubbery skin almost inedible. One of the fish dishes suffered a similar fate and was... More

We gad another wonderful meal here, but we forgot the dress code. Jet lag? My huband had long shorts on. He was politely asked to wear a sarongy thing, which he did. No problems. Food was superb and we picked particularly spicy dishes which left our palates fresh and tingling. More expensive than other Thai restaurants, but definitely worth while.

We were a group of six who stayed in Eastin Grand next to Blue Elephant. Had lunch on the day of arrival. Hadn't read much about this place beforehand. We were very much under dressed. The food and ambience were great. Nice colonial building that had hosted so many world leaders. Expensive compared to other places in the main touristy... More

My partner and I made reservations for dinner at The Blue Elephant on one of the nights that we were in Bangkok. We arrived on time for our meal and was immediately ushered to our tables by the ever so polite and professional service staff. We were read the specials and given a drinks and wine list. My partner ordered... More

Went in to this restaurant as I know group from restaurant that was in Fulham and boy I was not disappointed. From decor to welcome and from starter to dessert. I was left awestruck.

This is a great restaurant. High end service and food. Definitely worth eating at if you aren't on too much of a budget. Make a reservation. I went wearing shorts, which is a no-no, but they provided me with some pants to through on, so it was no problem. The food was too good to describe.
