My group (of about 12 people) selected this place due to the view of Wat Arun. Fair enough, the view is wonderful. However, the rest of the experience was a bit so-so. The food is nice but it;s not authentic Thai really. For real Thai food, visit somewhere else. For Thai food designed to suit Westerners with deep pockets, then... More

This is a great place to kick back between Grand Palace and Reclining Buddha. Their Thai food is exquisite and service impeccable. Down the end of a quiet alley, on the river, you have to look to find it!

Only had drinks here. You pay for the wonderful view of Wat Arun lit up at night across the Chao Phraya river. It's also very close to Wat Po. Expensive by Bangkok standards

We didn't eat here, just sat in the rooftop bar drinking cocktails as the sun set over Wat Arun. A really good place to literally have some sundowners. The uninterrupted view of the temple is just perfect after a busy day hitting the tourist trail in Bangkok. The drinks were very nice, reasonably priced & delivered with a smile. We... More

If you are only after a great view of the waterfront then you've found the spot. Waiter never brought a 2nd glass of wine we ordered and when we asked we were told they ran out. Food was mediocre at best. No reason to return with so many options in this city!

Extremely nice view and atmosphere, go there for a drink in the bar. A pity that the restaurant is so bad, could have been a five star recommendation otherwise. The food is mediocre and the service is a joke. No idea to even mention all mistakes, we ended up just laughing to the whole thing. Some tips to the kitchen... More

We arrived at 9:00 pm, the last order will be at ten... at 9:45, they close the tent, put off the candle, ask to be payed. NOT acceptable. The food was without care, eatable but without interest, ... and expensive food ! Special tourist trap, TO escape !

The view of the Wat Arun temple at sunset watched from this bar is killer! Prices affordable and easy to access by boat or taxi.

Eating outdoors on the 2nd floor around sunset provides a great view of Wat Arun and of the boat traffic heading up and down the river. The service is good and the food is excellent. We got several dishes to share and there was something for everyone. On the first visit, our driver did a fantastic job getting the car... More

This review is for the Amorosa Restaurant, located on the first floor of the Arun Residence. My boyfriend and I came for an early dinner because we wanted to watch the sun set over Wat Arun. We arrived around 4:45, and ordered Chang beer, prawn salad, pad thai, and green curry. Drinks and appetizers came rather quickly, and we took... More
