Amaaaazinggg Food!

Quaint and unassuming in terms of food- with the old owners actively running the place. In terms of ambience- old framed newspaper articles praising the restaurant and the days of glory for the owner couple, with a white and black spotted cat and numerous cartons filled with drinks lined up against... read more

What attracts, old time charm and curiosity about how a restaurant can survive so long in Bangkok. Don’t expect much from the décor. Unpretentious, small Chinese serving Cantonese - Thai food. After the visit, I am even more amazed, beverage, we managed to order but what happened to the food we ordered is written in the stars. after 30 minute... More

This dirty front shop restaurant is run by a family who have no idea about service. I gave up trying to get attention from the staff. The food is good even though it is overpriced. No bill is presented. You are merely told a total price. I won't go back.

For a small late of fried noodle, they charge THB140! Even for my country’s standard, it is considered expensive considering the quantity. Maybe they are in Sukhumvit so they have to charge Sukhumvit price. I will just go to Tops supermarket food court in the future. By the way, the food is lousy.

I'm in my 11th year of living in Bangkok and have walked past and seen this restaurant many times, but never used it because I was put off by its scruffy exterior and dirty inside. However, today I was due to meet someone nearby and running late, so I thought I'd pop in for what I thought would be some... More

Excellent restaurant with nice staff. When you are there please don't forget to look the wall what gives place to the old advertisements. They are really proud of the family and me too :)

Unpretentious restaurant with good quality Chinese dishes prepared to order. Symbiotic relationship with fresh orange juice stand on the street outside.

good food at this little eating place, tho it's a bit chaotic. The the old trout ( sorry I mean the lady proprietress ) doesn't seem to like customers that much, but persevere and you will get a good meal. Also be aware that it shuts about 9pm.

This restaurant exists in time warp, situated in the corridor of high rise that is now Sikhumvit Rd. It is beyond unpretentious and would certainly be closed down in the western world. However the food is consistently good and reasonably priced. Two of us ordered duck in red wine, chicken with ginger, sweet & sour prawns, rice & 2 beers... More

Admittedly I've lived in Bangkok for the past 10 months so I've probably acquired the taste of spicy and flavoursome Thai food. A friend and I dropped into Yong Lee because of it's pleasant atmosphere. Well, the food took more than the usual time to be delivered and comparing it to other similar Thai restaurants, the food was a little... More
