Fantastic Sunday Brunch

This restaurant is well known for the Sunday Brunch menu, which has about 30 items of small plates. Patrons can order as many dishes as they can eat and there is free flow white wine of Bloody Mary.

This restaurant called Chesa is a Swiss restaurant and the management served up beef that is on the verge of expiry. Pics attached proves it. The manager even had the guts to say this was what he bought when clearly anyone who knows about restaurant food quality should will not buy beef that is near expiry.

Wonderful lunch as always In this Swiss haven in the middle of Bangkok's Sukhumvit District. I had lobster pasta and my wife's terrace if AUSTRALIAN lamb. Both delicious.

we had a nice dinner at this lovely and cozy place. Actually I like such places called beitzli in Switzerland very much and so I enjoyed also the food in here. Of course prices are upper level but quality and wine was good. Very good host/owner. Will be back

I have eaten now at Chesa three times and each time has been great. I love the selections of food especially the 'game' on offer. Deer, rabbit etc. So tasty and full of flavours. Cooked in a simple style to make them mouth watering. Service is very good and great selection of wines. I will be a regular client going... More

Firstly, I must admit that I'm friends with the owners, Thomas and Rene, but I did meet them through their restaurant, so I think bias is not really an issue. Chesa offers a mix of Swiss and other European dishes in a friendly, comfortable fine dining atmosphere. My wife and I normally dine here with groups of friends in the... More

We where back again at the Chesa Restaurant in Bangkok. The food was excellent - at the moment they offer game dishes from Europe made with imported ingredients, very good. Service is as always not very attentive.

We visited for a weekday lunch and the food was delicious, very authentic and I enjoyed eaten in many restaurants throughout Switzerland. However while we were there the waitresses changed shifts and some new afternoon girls arrived and suddenly we were ignored believably badly! We really wanted to order dessert as the menu looked great but 30 minutes after finishing... More

Fantastic Swiss cheese raqclette and fondue. Onion sauce on the veal sausage and rosti is always perfect. Still the best in town.

Partner was hungry for some cheese fondue and it was a to go place whilst researching on Bangkok. Found the place pretty easily and went in when the restaurant was near empty at about 4pm. Cheese fondue was pretty authentic compared to the one we ate at Switzerland. Would recommend getting your fondue fix here !

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
