Close to Bei Otto, the German institution is Chesa, the Swiss institution. For sure the best Swiss restaurant in Thailand. The Chesa provides various varieties of world class fondues, excellent Swiss and European cuisine and an outstanding wine selection. Thomas and Rene the two chefs/owners are nearly all time present in the restaurant and run this place with passion and commitment.... More

I travel a lot for work and pleasure... Lucky I know people in many countries I go to by now. When you want to have a good dinner, you need to ask the insiders! A good friend took me to the Swiss Restaurant located in Sukhumvit Soi 20. The wine selection is amazing. (I'm from Germany, and I was impressed!!!)... More

2 internationally experienced chef/owners create various types of food at it's best. Aroy, aroy! No wonder that an ex PM is a frequent guest with his family at this place. Good Location at Soi 20.

After a few months away from Bangkok it was a pleasure to eat at Chesa again. Their varied menu selection, quality of the food is as good as you will find anywhere. Everything from wild game to standard Swiss and European dishes is available. They offer an excellent wine selection and run specials regularly at very reasonable prices. I was... More

I am a bit late with this review but wanted to share the experience. I lived just outside of Zurich for many years and this restaurant brings back many nostalgic memories. The menu had all the Swiss classics, and as it was in season there was a special white asparagus menu. While really tempted I went for Steak Tartar to... More

If anybody thinks that Swiss food is nothing more than fondue and raclette think again, as Chesa provides an excellent range of all regions of Swiss cuisine from the French, to German, Italian and Grisons. Operated by two Swiss owner-chefs Rene & Thomas this is my idea of soul- and comfort-food in Bangkok. Using their expert skills to source the... More

Nice atmosphere, great service, cosy place. I had a corn salad for starter and a beef tenderloin with grilled veggies and swiss rösti potatoes for main. Toblerone chocolate mousse as dessert. My friend loved the rhubarb compote and mövenpick ice cream. I will go back very soon.
