Nice views

We walked in hoping for a table for three, and they were nice enough to accommodate us. Helpful since we had a visitor in town, no back-up plan, and were starved from sight seeing. The food was good, but you go for the view. Our view of Wat Arun was slightly obstructed, but still made for a nice... read more

The restaurant host sets the tone for a relaxed welcoming atmosphere. He suggested top floor bar to catch the view & relax and come down to eat whenever we felt like. Warm & inviting staff.

Booked the restaurant 2 weeks ago and did a double confirmation before we went . When we arrived, the manager mentioned that it wasn't book . Attitude was bad initially and become better toward the end. Food was average. I just to love this place when it first started but now I will think twice before u make a return

We reserved a table along the deck rail, which offered us a front row view of Arun Temple (directly across the river). Server was friendly and food was served in an efficient manner. We were dining in a large party of 8 including two preschool aged children. Quick and speedy service is key for an enjoyable dinner out with young... More

I had a very bad experience with my girlfriend today at the deck. We came to the restaurant based on the reviews on trip advisor. The food was awful and so was the service. We ordered a sandwich and a Thai red curry. We specifically asked if the sandwich was warm and the waiter confirmed this. We ordered a coke... More

Was looking for a lunch plan near Wat Pho/Wat Arun and the Deck did it. The location is not as great as people say (okay it is one the river and opposite to Wat Arun but nothing to write home about), the food not fantastic either (good but not great), service uncharacteristically impersonal for Thailand. So that's that, a place... More

We decided to try thai food and ordered 1 pomelo salad, 1 chicken satay, 1 salmon steak, 1 green curry with prawns and 1 mango with sticky rice. See pictures for details. - Chicken satay was great. Perfectly cooked, tender and not dry. - Pomelo salad was very good as well. The pomelo was sweet and came in big chunks... More

It took maybe 30-40 minutes from ordering to get drinks on the table. My wife actually ate her starters before they managed to deliver the drinks. After that she got her main course before I even got my starters. How hard can it be?

The service is really slow and food below average. Have a drink watching the sunset at 5th floor terrace. It's not in the same building with the restaurant (theres one building between them), look for a hotel lobby and climb up the stairs.

The Deck was good if you want mild Thai cuisine. I like a little more spice and flavor. We did have to wait a while for the waiter to come take our order. The main entrée came out first and the appetizer came out third. I don't know if they were just having an off day.
