The Deck is tucked away down a dingy, unwelcoming back street - yet when you get inside the atmosphere changes. The place is small but well presented. You can either sit on "the deck" or inside what is essentially a glass box. The view of Wat Arun is the main seller of this restaurant. The food is ok, a tad... More

Visited for some drinks after visiting the beautiful Wat Arun across the Chao Phraya. Very tired and thirsty, and read about this place in a couple of guide books so made an effort to find it. We were not offered seats on the upper deck, and our view of Wat Arun was obscured by a boat which was parked in... More

You were not offered to the upper deck, it is the reason that it will be opened from 5 pm. onward or otherwise all the tables are reserved. We apologize if our staff had not given... More

We opted for this option during our tour of Bangkok city. I wouldn't go out of my way to look for it again. It wasn't what I expected - the view is of the rubbish floating in the dirty river. The service and food were okay. Apparently there is a top floor with good views at cocktail hour, didn't see... More

I'd agree with other reviewers that the view from this restaurant across to Wat Arun is lovely. However, this restaurant didn't quite deliver us the full package I.e food, service, ambiance and value for money! The menu is extensive, and there was plenty to suit our tastes - a mix of thai and western/ fusion style. We really enjoyed the... More

This place has a very nice view of the palace across the river, but thats it! The food is wildly overpriced and bad tasting. The staff is very unfriendly and got our order wrong 2 times. Will never go here again

We came here on suggestions from our hotel's concierge. It offered nice view of Wat Arun across the river indeed, but the food was rather mediocre and the place was unimpressive. Admittedly, we didn't sit inside so it would be for us to tell whether inside/the bar upstairs are way better. If you want the view, come here for a... More

Ate here after a busy day sight seeing around the Grand Palace. It is a pretty, quiet restaurant within easy walking distance of the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. Nice food, tasty and well presented. Cool, air conditioned indoor area or terrace seating outside on the river. Good service. My partner saw a dish being served to someone that he... More

Yummy food!! Nice view of the Wat Arun. They open up the top deck with the best view of the temple at 1700.

I have been here 3 times at night, the night view is gorgeous as it facing Wat Arun. The food here is average I would advise the owner improve the quality of the food. It's crowded during weekend and I would advise everyone go on the weekday!
