It took maybe 30-40 minutes from ordering to get drinks on the table. My wife actually ate her starters before they managed to deliver the drinks. After that she got her main course before I even got my starters. How hard can it be?

The service is really slow and food below average. Have a drink watching the sunset at 5th floor terrace. It's not in the same building with the restaurant (theres one building between them), look for a hotel lobby and climb up the stairs.

The Deck was good if you want mild Thai cuisine. I like a little more spice and flavor. We did have to wait a while for the waiter to come take our order. The main entrée came out first and the appetizer came out third. I don't know if they were just having an off day.

Tips: book one day ahead to get the best table. i recommend the 2nd floor and above for better views. if u get the first/ground floor, get the indoor table to avoid the smell of the river to get to this restaurant, you must enter a small alley. the restaurant itself (a four floor building) is hidden from the main... We ate at the Deck while staying at the Arun residence. We had a deliscious meal at a river front table. The service was good, although typical of all our restuarant meals in Thailand, yu have to ask them to come over to order, bring you the check, or to order anything else- they definitely don't hover! Prices were high... More

The reason to come here was recommended by friend. So I went to have a lunch on Xmas day but the feeling is not the same as a friend has described. I guess it was because during the day it was a bit hard to find parking place because the area is very close to all other tourist attractions like... More

We dined here twice during our stay in the area. On the first occasion we had booked and had a seat outside to appreciate the fantastic view of Wat Arun at night. We found the service quick and pleasant, and the food of good quality, although Yi are certainly paying for the location. On our return visit the standards had... More

One my second day in Bangkok my husband and I ended our long hot day here to watch the sunset and have a couple of beers. Unfortunately we sat at our table for 30 minutes until finally my husband got up and ordered through the bartender. 15 minutes later our beers still had not come and we flagged down someone... More

The only reason to come back here is probably for a drink with the view over Wat Arun, best at sunset & evening when the light is on. Food overall is average. Not bad, but not that outstanding for the price either; especially in BKK, where food is delicious & cheap everywhere. Service is average to the world standard, but... More
