We managed to get a table on the ground floor. Some are reserved for walk ins. The location on the map is incorrect use Google maps instead, note none of the streets to the water link up so take the one south of the one indicated on the map. We ordered satay chicken to start which was good. The beef... More

We reserved seats at this restaurant previous to going to Bangkok, we arrived 15 minutes late due to not being able to find it (make sure you are very thorough in telling people where you want to go, our taxi driver dropped us at the Wat Pho and we had to find out way from there which wasn't easy) but... After the searing heat walking around Grand Palace / Wat Pho, this place was perfect to sit back look out at Wat Arun, watch the boats and have a drink or two as the sun goes down. The entrance is down an alley, but don't be off as your reward will await you!

One of the memorable places I've dined at in Bangkok. You'll get a great view of the Wat Arun and Chao Phraya River. Probably one of the better places for alfresco dining along the famous river. The place has a classy feel, with a great selection of food. A bit pricey but service is alright and food tasted great! You'll... More

Stopped at the deck after recognising the name when I was in the area. I ordered a smoked duck and mozzarella sandwich which was far from what I expected. It was pretty average, cheap bread and the duck was fatty, and at 200 odd bhat you would expect a little more for a sandwich. The location itself is beautiful, the... More

view from the restaurant (terrace on the ground floor right at the water side and the 1st floor) to the wat arun spectacular, even better from the bar on the 4th floor (stairs from the restaurant) however the food was terrible. we have been travelling in asia for many years and rarely the food was so bad (tom kha gai,... We had lunch here before visiting Wat Pho. Glad we found this place. Had an outside table on the deck, with a great view of Wat Arun across the water. The food was also good, western food combined with thai food. My husband had the traditional pad thai "omelette" while I had a really fresh salad with raspberry dressing. Would... More

I have eaten and stayed at this place regularly since 2011. A small hotel with a few simple rooms looking directly over Wat Arun behind which the sun sets dramatically on any clear day. The restaurant and bars are on the river front and share a similar view. If staying, the breakfast is more than adequate for the climate. Lunch/late... More

We enjoyed drinks and a meal at The Deck on a hot and humid afternoon recently. Walking away from the wharf (back in the direction the boat came) the restaurant is down an alley along the river. A wonderful setting and attentive staff make for a great experience. As the sun set over Wat Arun temple sit and enjoy the... More

Good thai food. I highly recommend you to go during sunset. Wat Arun looks really amazing from here.
