The food and service were wonderful. We had the set dinner and each course was just fantastic. A wonderful sticky rice and mango dessert to finish.

Dining on the Chao Phraya river is a mesmerizing experience. The water keeps the temperature down a bit, and the sights and sounds of the river make for a great backdrop to any meal. This restaurant does Thai food well, and the service is outstanding. The meal runs a bit expensive here, for Thai food, but the overall experience and... More

Our Thai friends that live in Bangkok took us to this restaurant, which just shows you how amazing this place is. If you are looking for high quality & fine dining Thai food this is the place to visit in Bangkok! Thai food at its best! Highly recommended. The restaurant is styled in old Thai style, even the music was... More

Best riverside Thai Restaurant . Good taste and good service. However, you have to reserve the seat for your visit.

My partner and I really love Thai Food, and Thiptara didn't fail! The food was really tasty. The service was perfect. They are really attentive and they really look after you. (After seeing me being attract by mosquitos one of the server gave me a mosquitos repellent). Thank you for a wonderful night.

Staying at The Peninsula Hotel on a very wet evening, we decided to eat in house, and sample Thiptara, their Thai restaurant. Uncovered seating right by the riverside was not an option due to the rain, but we were seated in one of their covered open salas in the courtyard with a good view of the river. We always avoid... Price is not that expansive if you consider this is a 5 star hotel. I still miss the nice steam sea bass, one of the best I ever had. Food is the only reason I would consider to be back to Peninsula Bangkok

My husband and I have celebrated a few of our wedding anniversaries here and we kerp on going back. The restaurant is located right beside the Chao Phraya River and although the nights can be quite warm and humid, the atmosphere and general vibe is more than enough to make up for the slight discomforts. I always feel as if... More

While I have tried Thai food everywhere, the Thai food at Thiptara is the best! I love the som tam (papaya salad), the chicken in pandan leaves, the fried rice and of course the dessert.
