We were seated right by the river. The setting is a wonderful garden. They had a woman playing Thai music on an instrument similar to a harpsichord in full regalia. The wine selection was very good and we found the food to be of high quality in nice proportions. The soups were particularly good. The only draw back was the... More

The best thing about Thiptara is the service, it's just gorgeous, warm, friendly and attentive. We went twice because we liked this place so much and the people working there. The food is really good and fresh! Try the morning glory with the shrimps, it's really delicious. We tried a lot different things and we're really happy about the recommendations... More

The ambiance is excellent for couple however, it's good for family too. Service is excellent and food is extremely good though it's a bit pricey. Worth paying!

We ate here several time during our stay. The food is amazing and the ambience is great. It is located on the river front with salas throughout the grounds. Being on the river you get a cool breeze that blows off the river if the wind is blowing in the right direction There is a wide variety on things to... More

Great place with an excellent view by the river for dinner. Good food with some interesting set menus and plenty of choice. Good service and boat transfer to the main pier on the other side of the river.

We had no booking and arrived at the hotel. We requested to have dinner in their Thai restaurant and so they did try to call and check availability. No reply. We asked if we could go to the restaurant to check on availability but this was not so easy. Nobody wanted to tell us where the restaurant was and in... More

We decided to have their set menus that included Thai wine. There were about 3 different set menus (with wine option for extra 10 euro per person). In all honesty it was far too much food, but the selection was interesting and well worth busting your dress/trouser seams for. The Thai Syrah wine was surprisingly good . (Interestingly, the Thai... A fairly unassuming sort of a restaurant which you would often find in a hotel. The food was nice, service good, but not many patrons. Great view over the river and a nice experience
