I came here after reading the good reviews and expect a great feast. I ordered: - Black pepper crab (the sauce is okay but the price is quite high for the portion provided, no equipments provided for eating the crab until we asked at the very end) - Pad thai (below standard: wet, noodles were too soft and mushy, blend... I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of locals, with whom it is a favorite. This is very authentic Chinese food - perhaps a bit too authentic for some American tastes. Service was good. We ate in a small private dining room, where the atmosphere was austere. Plenty of free convenient parking.

When my dad took us there for diner, we first did not know what to think. I am not posh but quite picky when it comes to a restaurant cleanliness and appearance. Seeing the open kitchen giving on the street, I was a bit worried. The menu is extensive and this is a kind of chain restaurant, I had a... More

I tried 3 seafood restaurants during my visit in Bangkok: T&K Yaowarat, Lek & Rat Yaowarat and Je Ngor's Kitchen Sukhumvit. Please read all my reviews for all those 3 restaurants for comparison. In Lek&Rat and T&K restaurants, we ordered the same menu: Grilled Prawns, Tom Yum Goong and Crab. But in Je Ngor, we couldn't afford to order crab,... More

This is a chain of restaurants but owner and her staff are at the restaurant on Soi 39 near the sheraton hotel. You would normally walk by the restaurant but what a mistake if you like seafood. They use local fresh ingrdiants and are great with garlic items, I have eaten there at least 50 times over the years and... More

I've been there several times and it's always a surprise to experience the different tastes of the genuine Thai kitchen. Very good service with a big smile. Place has to be refurbished to make it more cozy and attractive.

I came here with great expectations as I have seen quite a few reviews from guide books in Hong Kong. I therefore booked it to celebrate mothers day. Great expectation leads to great disappointment, the restaurant had 70% empty tables when we arrived and mostly tourist. Theres no deco in the but its ok as we came here for the... More

Read the reviews and was looking forward to some very special seafood dishes. When we arrived I was disappointed by the complete lack of atmosphere to the restaurant. We decided to sit outside, but were a little uncomfortable due to the heat, a fan or two would be good. The food arrived. It was good, but nothing to go crazy... More

Our family comes to Bangkok every year. And my mom craves the food here and insists on coming every time, particularly this branch. Not that we don't try other restaurants. We do, and also other Thai-Chinese restaurants. But the rest fail short in comparison. Prices are reasonable, and the taste is great for every dish. Must try items: crab in... More
