I have to laugh at people who rate this as an authentic, atmospheric Thai restaurant. It serves extremely average food, using low quality ingredients (meat and veg) and even charge extra if you want ice!! Even the noodle stand near Bullys pub at Nana (which is great quality btw) don't charge for ice. Typical tight Thai/Chinese mentality and apart from... More

Good Thai food restaurant but service can be oddly erratic; each time I've been there at least one of us food has turned up late, once my meal turned up after all my friends had finished eating :-(

This place is well known among foreigners. Went there three times during my four nights stay in Bangkok, always pack with foreigners. The restaurant has more than 150 menus! The food tastes great but priced more expensive than the other Thai food vendors. Overall, it is a nice place to have a dinner with friends or family.

We've been going here for years when visiting Bangkok. Never had any issues over the food quality. No stomach problems after either. The chicken cashew in chili sauce is great, as is the fried crab balls starter. We've tried a good number of their other dishes and have been very happy. The only exception was the crab in curry powder... More

Suda is a wonderful street restaurant in Bangkok, where you can eat without worrying about getting ill from the food. We keep coming back, bringing friends to enjoy it with us. The best dishes are: Fried Shrimp with sweet sauce, Wrapped Chicken in Banana Leaves, Pad Thai with Shrimp, Kyle [Chinese spinach]. All the food is prepared on the spot,... More

This is our first culinary port-of-call in Bangkok. The location is central, just off Sukhimvit Road by the Asok metro stop. The venue is family-run, with a minimum of English spoken. That does not matter. The folk are extremely friendly; the food is real Thai, which in our book is incredible, the ambience is truly local and the price is... More

This was the first authentic Thai meal that we experienced in Bangkok when we arrived and we were very impressed with the food. It was delicious, served piping hot and there were good quantities of everything we ordered. It was also nice and cheep. The service on the other hand was not really up to scratch. Admittedly they were quite... More

If you expect proper Thai food and service, please stay away from the restaurant. You might see its employees' smile only when you pay a bill Food was terrible and the servers were so rude. They didnt care at all even though they made a mistake to take orders. So disappointed and frustrated.

Used to be a good and cheap place ! All the prices have been increased (you can see the former prices bellow the new sticker on menu). Fried Rolls were horrible, it's been a month I m in Thailand and I never eaten a such poor taste... Panang curry was OK but overpriced (120thb + 20thb for rice). You eat... More

It certainly doesn't look like much, like a couple garages with the doors removed. But the food is great! And cheap, 80-120 baht a meal if memory serves. There's a wide variety of Thai food and it's all done well. The thai green curry was pretty good and the deep fried asparagus and prawns (THEY ARE HUGE PRAWNS) are good... More
