Being a Russian who lived in Egypt and loved their food, I was so excited when I knew about this restaurant. The excitement went even higher when I first tried the food there. The food taste, the atmosphere flew me back to Egypt! At least mentally My Thai friends had a great time exploring this cuisine, shisha and belly dancing.... More

This is my first time of trying Egyptian food. I must say it makes me decide about coming back and have more.

Went last Friday evening with my wife. The place is quite cozy and relaxing. The food was good. We ordered sheesh tawook, hummus, lamb with okra etc. and all the dishes were flavourful. The service is decent and I really enjoyed the live entertainment by the oud player which I didn't find in any other reputed arabic restaurants in bangkok.... More

The sheesha i smoked here was the best of my life. Never had such a great taste before. The best thing about Arabesque is that here you can ask for coal change as many times as you want, you won't be given any disappointing looks by the staff for a single time. Very courteous and very hospitable staff.

After a quick scan of Middle Eastern restaurants on TripAdvisor we chose to dine at Arabesque - so glad we did! First let me say that you will find Arabesque at the far end of Sukhumvit Soi 2 and that's a very good thing! Away from the hustle and bustle that is Soi 3, it is a tranquil oasis in... More

If you are looking for good food and shisha then Arabesque is the place to go. The atmosphere is phenomenal, it's like being in the Middle East in Bangkok. Mohamed was a great and treated my wife and I with excellent care. I really do recommend this place.

The restaurant wasn't too far from where we were staying so after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor my husband and I were really looking forward to trying it out. Unfortunately, I can't say that we share the same sentiments as most. Put simply it was just ok. I don't know, maybe we ordered the wrong dishes.... Also, we obviously didn't... More

We ordered the Mixed Grill and the Mixed Mezzah Platter and Egyptian bread. Everything was obviously fresh and perfectly seasoned. The mixed grill was served at the table on a small intricately decorated charcoal grill. The charcoal was perfectly ashed over. I immediately thought that it was amazing that they can do this and still serve the food promptly. We... More

This Middle Eastern eatery at the end of Sukhumvit Soi 2 (between Ploenchit Center and JW Marriott) serves delicious, authentic Egyptian food in huge portions (for Thais at least) at reasonable prices. Our favourites being the tender meat fatteh and the vegetarian kashory (an assortment of lentil, macaroni, rice and fried onions served with a chilly tomato sauce), the cooking... More
