By Customer Tripadvisor review...

This smallish, cozy Italian restaurant in the heart of the city offers some of the best Italian food in Bangkok. Situated in a stand-alone Thai house, it has both indoor and outdoor seating and a room for private parties. The prices are average but the food is exceptionally good. There are weekly specialties on offer but the standard fair includes homemade pastas, salads, antipasti, fish, beef, lamb, chicken, and, of course, their famous pizza. They also have homemade desserts and an impressive wine list as well as a fully-stocked bar. Definitely worth a visit.

Spent the diner at the restaurant with 2 colleagues, after we had the recommendations, we selected a fantastic pizza and some assortment of pastas. The restaurant was full but the service was top and the food to die for. This is a perfectly run place, keep serving us like this.

This is an excellent Italian restaurant. I have now visited here 4 times. The service you receive is excellent, staff are very attentive. I like that there are also a number of complementary things for customers: bread sticks, bread and limoncello. Makes you feel that you are a valued customer. Although perhaps a little expensive in comparison to some other... More

I always say I will write a review for the numerous restaurants I visit, but never do, but could not skip this one. This meal and experience was possible one of, if not 'the' best of my life. I am very fond of Italian food, so have had my fair share, including a trip to Rome to have the most... More

Fantastic Italian restaurant in Bangkok! Great service, delicious food and fair prices for what you get (more expensive than the average Thai prices we were accustomed to, but worth it) Speck and Gorgonzola Pizza is a reccomendation.

I so wish the restaurant was in Perth, Australia. Quite simply the best pizza I have had outside of Italy! If you are in Bangkok you have to go here. We ate in all the fine dining options (Joel roubechon, st Regis, shangri la etc etc) and the best food we had was at Il Bolognese. Fantastic service, passionate owner.... More

Visited the restaurant for a business dinner on the 20 of January 2016. As an Italian myself and on hospitality business am giving this restaurant the highest score on both food and on service, food in particular. And highly recommend it.

II Bolognese: - Is an amazing Italian restaurant located rite behind the Singapore Embassy, Bangkok. It is a perfect place for a meal if you're looking for both exquisite and casual dining. The place will give you a homely feeling and it has the option of indoor and outdoor seating. In the recent times II Bolognese has become my personal... More

Staying in Sathorn

Neighborhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
