I did not enjoy this place at all. Dining for two they manged to screw the order up. The Tandoori chicken was the worst I have ever tasted. It was dry and chewy, like eating an old shoe. The food is just OK, nothing special here. Once again there are better places to spend your money.

I had read about Indian Chaat, and having visited almost all Indian restaurants in Bangkok, we decided to pay a visit to Indian Chaat tonight. We took a taxi from Emporium, and the place was easy to locate (opposite sawasdee school, on Soi Sawasdee). The place was a normal shop converted to a restaurant. Not too big, and had 5... More

I have been trying to get to Indian Chaat for several months, after reading all of the good reviews and the #1 rating. The food was okay but not the best Indian food in Bangkok. We did order dumplings - momos - which probably wasn't wise. They were chewy and lacking flavor. The naan bread was tough. However, the curries... More

The food was pretty average for an Indian, definitely not the best I've had. It's a bit tricky to find, not exactly on any main soi. Don't get me wrong, the food was fine, but i don't think it deserved the Number 1 rank it had on here at the time and probably no need to rush back (there are... More

I found the food to be below average for Indian food in Bangkok and price a bit high for what you get. There are few others that have better Indian dinning options in the city, not to mention other cuisines. Other than that....plastic chairs, thats not food but was expecting better as honestly I went there because of reviews from... More

When you pull up outside and you see this place you feel uneasy. Trusting its number 1 rating I ventured in. The decor is cafe at best with plastic chairs so be prepared. There are 5 tables only seating 4 to a table. There are about 5 waiters so the service is outstanding! The quality of food is unbeatable, it... More

This is a very basic restaurant. Yes it is tasty but the decor & service reminds me more of a canteen than a proper restaurant. It can not real be that this restaurant is number 1 in Bangkok!?!. There is something rather fishy about this! I put average because I was expecting so much more from what is supposed to... More
