We started with a few cocktails on the balcony overlooking the racetrack, very pleasant place to sit for a while before dining. The restaurant is pleasant enough, with a view of the open kitchen, watching them prepare food is interesting. All dishes were very good, fois gras was fantastic as we're the ribeye steaks and lamb cutlets. The only disappointment... More

I like going to brunch a viu even if it is a little more formal than most bangkok brunches The food selection tho on the 1st look may seem smaller than some brunches around the city the fact that you can also order al a carte menus on top of this make it a great place.... The selection is good... More

Maybe it was bad luck or the hotel's fault but we had booked this brunch and they failed to let us know that there was a ban on alcohol that day hence their normal brunch inclusive with alcohol was reduced and we are unsure if they had the full selection of food available as they also admitted having less clients... I have stayed here before and have always been amazed at how this restaurant makes the buffet work. I have stayed at many other luxury properties in Thailand and they all have nice buffets but they don't for so seamlessly. There are so many choices from sushi, congo, rice , eggs, noodles soups, cereals, etc. The juice choices and beverage... More

We have just returned from supper at Viu. We tried the Wine Buffet at Decanter last Saturday night. We found the service, staff, food and wine excellent. We thought in the same hotel another outlet would be of the same standard - not so! We were met by a Maitre 'd/Manager (who was on the telephone) when we arrived and... More

Average quality and variety is limited. Orange juice available on the buffet tastes like Tang and is awful, you can request fresh squeezed but this is not advised, it was by chance that I was made aware of this. Eggs are to order and delivered to your table, very slow, most other major hotels turn over while u wait and... More

We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Bastian as we dined at Viu who explained or dishes to us and what went into designing them... This amazingly personalised touch was very unexpected but was an absolute joy. The dishes Bastian has created are truely some of the best you'll find in Thailand. The Beef wagu tortellini was truly special.

We went to Viu for a dinner menu prepared by a guest chef from Berlin. The place was freezing, probably 18 degree from the air conditioning, and this was enough to spoil the nigh in the beginning. Service was very slow, nobody seems to be available to opening our bottle of wine and we were served the first course before any bread would... More

You can truly expect the best here at VIU for champagne brunch nothing less. Service is attentive already a plus point after the amazing spread of fine seafood bar offering amazing fresh and creamy oysters, fat prawns and alaskan crab legs to the sunday roasts, peking duck and sushi bar. The cold cuts section boasts iberico pork to the finest... More
