I was so excited to visit Din Tai Fung during food trip to Bangkok. Good soup dumplings, and exceptional fried pork chop. Never tasted any pieces of good meat like that. However the queue was kind of confusing with unclear instruction from the staff. Kinda pricey also (2400THB for 3, incl. service fee)

... across the menu. Friendly - but slow - service over lunch (aside of long waiting queue). Felt a bit understaffed, given the size of the restaurant. Mixed feeling about service/food quality/price ratio. Overall better than "good", not as good "as very good". But one of the places worthwhile to try, when shopping at Central Plaza.

Having been to the one in Seattle, I had high hopes for the Din Tai Fung in Central World. First of all it is in a mall. But having said that, the food was decent, not as good as in Seattle but good enough. You can see the people making your dumplings through the glass at the entrance. The food... More

This may be one of the best Chinese Dumpling that i ever taken before, they serve not a normal plate for normal restaurant, instead they serve us in 10 pieces. The taste is very tasty and the flavor of the meat is really tasteful. This restaurant is quite expensive though, it is a high class restaurant food anyway, but sometime... More

This is a good Chinese restaurant on the top floor of a large shopping mall. The Dim Sum is very good and fresh and several are relatively unique. Not your top Chinese, but very good. Mike

Never eaten steamed dumplings before and was keen to visit this restaurant in Central World as our son works nearby and recommended the food. Everything was cooked to order and you can see the dumplings being made. Everything is pristine including the immaculate uniforms of the chefs preparing the food. It was a thoroughly delightful experience and one we hope... More

We visited the central world 7th floor restaurant having visited this branch as well as branches in Shanghai and Beijing over the years we were looking forward to our din tai fung fix! Whilst the dumplings are good, for us this visit did not live up to expectations. Service was slow and the dumplings not quite as good as we... More

I think it says it all that we came back to this place two days in a row. On the weekend it was packed though, so be prepared to wait for your table. The food is delicious with such a wide variety of dishes to suit every palette. The crab and pork as well as the vegetable dumplings are great.... More

if you are in love with Dim Sum, this is the place where you should go. The best dish to have is the most traditional one, the Steamed Pork Dumplings. The soups are also great. I wish there was one in Paris!
