The Mian (we had Shanghai style) and xian long bo were excellent! Highly recommed this place if you're in the neighborhood. We also had the sesame seed pancakes with duck and pine nut filling, as well as the banana fritters - although beware of this last one - portions are gigantic! Nothing too memorable about the service or atmosphere but... More

not worth the effort of seeking this restaurant. Nothing wrong with it but why bother when there are so many similar ones. The other branch at Paragon is much better in all aspects.

Went there many times, including with business partners and never been disappointed. The service is attentive, the food, without being outstanding, is pleasant (try the Beijing duck, the snow fish, the cold white wine chicken and the xiao long bao) and the proximity of BTS and shopping centres is an asset.

This is a nice little place n the small shopping mall attached to the Hyatt. The food is authentic, especially the dumplings and noodles, the service is attentive and the prices are very reasonable. This was one of the best places we tried in Bangkok.

We stop over for a quick lunch. The restaurant location is good and if afterward, you want to carry on with more shopping, everything is there The food is not bad but with the quantity and quality, a bit pricy

I have been to this restaurant at least 15 times. Each time was an experience, as each dumpling was superb. I/we usually order just dumplings and maybe some vegetables, noodles and soup. always a hit. As I seen an ad in BK magazine on a particular restaurant in Bangkok, advertising their dim sum, Alas !!!! I thought of this restaurant,... More

The service was slow, unfriendly and downright indifferent! The fried rice was stone cold, oily and tasteless with hardly any shrimp or meat in it. The dumplings were hard, it's filling of meat taste rubbery and not fresh. The chicken soup was cold and very, very salty with stone hard tasteless chicken meat. The service staff were slow and they... More

After having a mediocre lunch with friends there, the bill came to just over 3500 THB, we left a 300 THB tip, and as we were ready to depart I tipped over one of their water glasses which then broke. I apologised and thought nothing more of it, until the manager approached us as we were leaving with a price-list... More

As we were in the area of Erawan, decided to drop by Crystal Jade to have a quick lunch. As it was past 1.30PM the place was rather quiet with 4 tables already occupied. As we were the first to arrive, decided to order while waiting for others to follow. We were shown to our table a party for 6... More

Crystal Jade is a large chain of Chinese restaurants, present all over Asia and some parts of North America. They have traditional Cantonese restaurants and those that serve a kind of noodles and dumplings found in North China: la mian and xiao long bao. This branch is in the basement of the Erawan shopping complex, which is attached to the... More
