No visit to Bangkok is complete without an evening on the Riverside Terrace watching the city float by as the city lights up. The food is top drawer.

We took afternoon tea on the terrace overlooking the river. What a stunning place - how the other half live. despite not eating the staff were very polite and courteous. A people watching hour! Would love to go back and eat sometime as the food looked delicious.

The food is way overpriced and it just too hot to be wearing long pants for men. I had the cesear salad and it was very bad--waayy too fishy with anchovies. I only had two bites and sent it back but the hotel still charged us for it.

Excellent variety and quality of food, full drinks list, with world-class service. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, right by the busy Chao Phraya River. The ideal setting for a dinner with someone very special.

Very cosmopolitan, very fresh and huge choice. Fabulous outdoor setting with the 24hr bustle of the river accompanying your breakfast or dinner. Service impeccable, friendly but respectful.

We went there to have a drink by the river and stayed for dinner. The drinks and dinner were very good. The view included water taxis, barges loaded with sand, and a gorgeous sunset. Everything was excellent at the Mandarin but it's not my style. Glad for the experience.

This restaurant was recommended to me by 3 different people, so I had to reserve there. As soon as I emailed them, I instantly got an extensive reply with a confirmation. We went there by metro and the Mandarin Oriental had a private boat ride ready to drop us at their venue. The boat trip alone was marvellous. Once you... More

It is a real pleasure to have lunch with the wonderful and peaceful river view, in the unique and refined athmosphere of Mandarin Oriental. The service is excellent, always paying attention without being too present. Very pleasant.

On our second trip to Bangkok we just couldnt stay away from the Riverside Cafe in the Oriental.First of all the warm summer air which surrounds you sitting beside the riverside watching the boats go by. Secondly the selection of food is just out of this world. All very nicely cooked and cooked to your liking. From sushi to lamb... More
