The thai kitchen is great, but we have to be careful with our son of 6. He doesn't like spicy. We ordered the spaghetti with prawns for him. That was an execellent choice. I tasted myself and it was gorgious. The sushi we ordered was moderate. Love to see the kingsize chang beer (5 litres??) our neighbours ordered. And love... More

First time for us in "the city of angels" and we were looking for the real taste of thai food. We were surprised and didn't expect such a good value for our orders. The restaurant is close to the famous Chao Praya River and we were sitting close to this spectacular view. Food, service and price are real good. The... More

Had the good fortune to eat in this restaurant. I was in Bangkok and dying to get out of the "touristic restaurants". Found this on Trip Advisor. Its not a joke to reach here as its really far from Siam square or Sukhimvit. The cab ride from soi 4 in sukhimvit was almost 200 baht. ( almost no cabbie wanted... More

This restaurant is mainly aimed at locals. And this means it's honest food, at very affordable price. And there are very few tourists in here. We went there, as it's was our first night in Bangkok, and our hotel (Anantara Riverside) is just few blocks away. It is a pretty large place, with a bunch of table right above the... More

Whenever I'm in Bangkok I do go the wave to have a meal not once but twice or thrice. This time I found the place being renovated to have become a better place and nicer dishes and smily faces as usual. The dishes have plenty of food, spicy and delicious at a very reasonable price. They serve the meals very... More

It's always a challenge to find a local place that still makes foreigners comfortable. The Wave in BKK seems to understand this and I recommend stopping by when you are in Bangkok. Most important, great food...and you can get it as spicy as you want...or not-so-spicy. I especially like the fish -- it's some of the freshest I have had.... More

I know this place from the beginning. Some things changed, so they have new terrace and roof. The food is quit fine, the service very, very good but not all of them can talk in english. Whe we stay in Bangkok, we are goingnto this place.

I have reviewed this restaurant before, and nothing much has changed. The food and the view are still good. However, this time a large group of Thais sat down at the next table when we were in the middle of our meal and immediately started puffing away at their cigarettes. The waiter told us the restaurant allowed this, though it... More
