This restaurant is mainly aimed at locals. And this means it's honest food, at very affordable price. And there are very few tourists in here. We went there, as it's was our first night in Bangkok, and our hotel (Anantara Riverside) is just few blocks away. It is a pretty large place, with a bunch of table right above the... More

Whenever I'm in Bangkok I do go the wave to have a meal not once but twice or thrice. This time I found the place being renovated to have become a better place and nicer dishes and smily faces as usual. The dishes have plenty of food, spicy and delicious at a very reasonable price. They serve the meals very... More

It's always a challenge to find a local place that still makes foreigners comfortable. The Wave in BKK seems to understand this and I recommend stopping by when you are in Bangkok. Most important, great food...and you can get it as spicy as you want...or not-so-spicy. I especially like the fish -- it's some of the freshest I have had.... More

I know this place from the beginning. Some things changed, so they have new terrace and roof. The food is quit fine, the service very, very good but not all of them can talk in english. Whe we stay in Bangkok, we are goingnto this place.

I have reviewed this restaurant before, and nothing much has changed. The food and the view are still good. However, this time a large group of Thais sat down at the next table when we were in the middle of our meal and immediately started puffing away at their cigarettes. The waiter told us the restaurant allowed this, though it... More

If you are looking for great food, romantic place, friendly staff and a lot of fun, don't miss this place. On a friday night, the restaurant was full of young Thai People. Life Music and the chance for Karaoke in private rooms. The Food was delicious, the beers are really cold, the music hot and the place full of life.... More

One impromptu decision to try out the food at Wave Restaurant during one of our nights in Bangkok. As it was a little out of the way from the city centre, we took a taxi from our hotel. During dinner, we were seated by the river. The view definitely was a plus to the dinner place. I would say this... More

We were looking for a nice restaurant for diner and we happened on The Wave Restaurant.Firstly the warmth and genuiness of the reception was noticeable. The meal was from the sea but off the planet!! Atmosphere great. Position is beside the river which is great. Food delicious. We have the sushi boat each time we go there (now 3 times). Staff friendly and helpful.
