The English pub...

This place was real close to our hotel, and we landed here for breakfast on the last day of out stay. We were a little skeptical before stepping in, but once inside we really had a great time. The ambiance is too good. In a second, you are transported to Europe right in the middle of Bangkok. They... read more

The Robin Hood is very close to the BTS station Phrom Pong. I have been here several times and they certainly seem to have regular clientele. I personally go here because I know what to expect and it is a lazy option. I have eaten the Thai food here and it was ok, nothing more. I have not tried the... More

The location is very good but on all other counts this place delivers an average result. Great selection of beers if this is what you are after but disappointing wine list. With food the selection of starters was disappointing but things improved with the main courses. Good but it could aim much higher. Not cheap.

This is a good place to start your night. It's in a good location near the Phrom Pong Sky Train station and they have some good drinks promotions which offer great value. I haven't tried the food here because I only use this place for a few cheap drinks before moving on somewhere else. The guy that runs the bar... More

Good prices for beer with pints starting at 99 baht and cider at 199 baht, food used to be much better and has slipped lately. Most of the staff are outright rude and need to go. There's a reason why most wander a few metres down the Soi to the Dubliner and Royal Oak.

Having had a few so called English breakfasts at Thai restaraunts where I live I decided I truly needed a real English breakfast so made the journey in to Bangkok to the Robin Hood for their breakfast. It turned out that the wife and I would not be dissapointed. I went for their largest breakfast and the wife the medium... More

We used to be regulars here when in Bangkok but the place has declined in the past year. Physically the place hasn't changed - and that's a problem. Starting to look very tired. The food's gone downhill. The westerns dishes are greasy and the Thai dishes aren't as good as they used to be. The wine list is really disappointing... More

Decided to give this place a try for a Sunday lunch. Big mistake really. Upon entering we were greeted by two of the most miserable servers in Bangkok. We placed our order for food and tried a couple of the ciders, which were OK. The food was a different story. We both had the lamb and it is bland and... More

This truly authentic pub allows you to slip away from the Bangkok sights and sounds, and have a pint of your favorite beverage and something to nibble on. Staff is super friendly and attentive.
