Recently I organised our "Captains of Industry" Luncheon at Paris Bangkok......I am embarrassed to say that I pushed the choice through based on an excellent earlier experience there; I am sorry to say that I screwed up big time! Despite having discussed the event and the menu with the French manager several times, and telling him that we were big... More

Our friend, a well known restaurant critic, chose this restaurant to take us for lunch. He lives in Bangkok and this is one of his favorite restaurants. He was right. The food was well seasoned and well prepared. We spent quite of bit of time at the restaurant leisurely enjoying the different courses.

Dear K. Kittikhun, Thanks for your quick review. Indeed, we decorate but we're not focusing on it to the extreme, nice products, carefully prepared, like you said, simplicity. Looking forward to see you again, talking about simplicity, try Maine lobster ( fresh from our tank ) with Morel sauce, it 's simple but amazing. Dany More

I read about the pressed duck at La Tour d'Argent and always wanted to try it, so I was happy to find out that there was a place in Bangkok that served it. I was really happy with it - the duck breast was cooked to a nice medium rare, the meat was seasoned nicely and the sauce was intense... More

Dear , We're happy you liked this legendary dish, thanks for your feedback about your experience. As for the rest of the duck, well, we can serve it if you request it but as a standard, we serve the best part, the breasts which are already large. However, if you come again and feel for more, do not hesitate to... More

My wife and I ate here last night and were highly impressed by the great food, nice ambience and friendly service. Seafood platter and steaks were fantastic, with large portions of quality food at a reasonable price. The manager and staff were friendly and hospitable. We'll be back.

Just finding this place is a challenge, we attempted about 3 times before finally getting here, it was a waste of time I'm afraid..... it is quite large and the day we arrived it was empty except for us 2, not a promising start. Our big attraction to the place was the pressed duck that we had in Paris a... More

Dear Sir, I exactly remember that day when you arrived first. After more 4,000 pressed duck, it's very surprising to receive this first negative comment. As a matter of fact, the pressed duck is about the sauce which is the same recipe as done in Paris, we're using quality duck from a small farm with a quality far above anybody... More

This was a trek across town for a special occasion and very, very worth it! Very fresh, imported ingredients, the lamb, trout and steak tartare all stood out as special dishes. Service was very attentive without being intrusive. Although we visited on a quiet night, there was a lovely atmosphere and we were happy to linger over our drinks. Would... More

Having taken advantage of their excellent lunch offering in the past, we wanted to experience dinner and we weren't disappointed! We skipped the 3-course set dinner (excellent value as others have said) and chose 3 appetizers (escargots, tuna céviché, homemade lobster bisque) and 2 mains (steak tartare - made to our liking at the table, and the trout meunière -...
