Fortunately I've had the opportunity to eat at many local Thai restaurants. Basically Nahn serves Thai food more elaborately described in written word form at basically 5-10 times the cost of similar Thai dishes in local Thai restaurants. Don't get me wrong, Nahm's ambiance and setting may justify the higher costs, depends what's more important to you, the authenticity/flavor of... More

I must begin this review by pointing out that I do not share the same view about Nahm being the best restaurant in Asia. That said, I feel this is an extraordinary restaurant, with very professional service and very delicious food. We were three nights ago with my better half at Nahm for dinner, and we both really enjoyed our... More

I choose this restaurant simply because of the rank and hype. The positive points are the atmosphere and decor, very 'reasonable' price for a restaurant who owns one michellin star in London, friendly waitress. The points of attentions is that the food is very very spycy (not sure that all european people could finish the plates I ordered) and that... More

Went for dinner with my husband, with big expectations about this restaurant. We selected the degustation menu. For the first course the canapes were tasty but from than on the meal was disappointing. They made a mistake by serving us an incorrect dish, but when we advised them, they were quick to fix the mistake. Most of the dishes were extremely... More

We had a big group dinner at Nahm last night and the reason we chooses it is simply because of the rank and hype. I want to be as fair as possible after all the restaurant is highly ranked by a lot of critics. Just to be clear we are Asians who are familiar with south East Asian cuisines. Pros... More

As we stayed at Metropolitan, there was no reason for us not to visit the best restaurant in Asia and here we go - we made our first visit to Nahm on the first night we arrived in Bangkok. Ambience and environment was great, service was exceptional, but food was just so-so with most of the dishes very salty or... More

I think I echo everyone's opinion that nahm seems a little over rated for its perch as the best restuarant in Asia. It's good, but not mouth smacking awesome can't believe it good. Certainly doesn't have the cache of for example jiro in ginza where you eat and you remember that experience forever. Good or bad. Like their canapés, ok... More

My family was lucky enough to make a last minute reservation as this restaurant has an excellent reputation. My family was unaware that shorts and open-toed shoes were not allowed so we had to take a taxi back to our hotel which thankfully was not too far away. Overall the food was pretty good although extremely expensive especially for Thailand.... More

I am a bit flummoxed as to what to write. This is a perfectly fine restaurant but certainly not the best in Thailand and most definitely not in the top fifty in the world... The menu is quite extensive and rather than choose the set menu ourselves we asked if the chef could. If that is the "A-game" then I... More

I liked the restaurant but I dis not think it was exceptional. I am not even sure this should be a 3 stars Michelin. I have had dinner in quite a few of those and Nahm did not have the "levitation effect" some 3 Michelin star restaurants have on me (e.g. Diverxo, Madrid, Arzak, San Sebastian...). Three days later we... More
