Very good but not excellent

the ambience is of a good restaurant staff is friendly but something is missing in every aspect the table setting to the food itself although it's a good restaurant with reasonable price I can't understand how it came to be one of the leading restaurants in Asia and more of that in the world

Flying from Cambodia to Amsterdam we had a stop over in Bangkok, and made a booking here as it is 'the best restaurant in Asia'. The setting, in this hotel, wasn't too great. Not very tasteful, big hotel like and impersonal, no garden nor view, no charm. Nothing special apart from the AC working too hard consistently, which made you... More

Nahm likes to promote the fact that it was the #1 restaurant in Asia in 2014 and one of the top 50 in the world in the same survey. I took the bait and went but it didn't live up to its reputation. I went during lunch. I was told to make reservations weeks in advance, but when I showed... More

World class, best meal we had in Bangkok. Worth making a booking for and if you only have one 'fancy' meal you should go here! Recommend the set menu with chefs selection. Not cheap but worth every penny!

We went for dinner (9.45pm) at Nahm after reading the review on the world's top 50 restaurants website. It was also voted the top rated restaurant in Asia when we visited. We eat out a michelin restaurants (probably too much) and Nahm certainly compares to the standards in both service and cuisine that we've come to expect from this level... More

I was very underwhelmed by the food. The meal started out well, with awesome canapés. But it went downhill from there. I will give credit for the creative take on Thai cuisine, but overall (and my partner felt the same way too), much of the meal was an assault to the senses. The saltiness was too salty, sweetness was too... More

Originally tried Nahm a few months after it has opened and had found the food on the spicy side. fast forward 7.5 yrs the meal was different and flavors more subtle. That also could be due to changes in my own palate having lived in Bangkok since 2006. Overall a good location with solid service and a balanced menu to... More

Saw Nahm was recommended in NY times and many other publications as well as listed as number 13 in the world's best restaurant and decided to give it a try to take a break from street food. I'm really glad I did. Me and my wife chose the fixed price menu and it was one of the most amazing meals... More

When I made the reservation, I told the restaurant that I have a group of fussy eaters (some of whom do not take spicy food) and would prefer to go with the a la carte menu. But we were forced to choose a set menu after assurance that the chef will our dietary requests into consideration. They did not and... More
