Saw Cafe Ice when we first came to Bangkok and it was packed for dinner. Enjoyed lunch here with delicious pad Thai with chicken, curry and a salad for our group. A terrific experience.

We were looking for a restaurant and we find this restaurant after having a drink in a terrace. I was very surprise about the restaurant, the decoration is very friendly, the service very hospitality and the food delicious. If you are in the area, you have to go!!!

Arrived in Bangkok at around 7pm and after settling in at our hotel we used TA to seek out a resturant close by. We opted for Cafe Ice des artes and was not disappointed. Food was cooked well and with care and tasted beautiful. Service was efficient prompt and courteous. Would recommend as a relaxed and easy going place to... More

We actually had in mind to visit Tealicious but the restaurant was booked out and so we had to look around. We just passed Cafe Ice and the food on the plates looked ok and so we gave it a try. And we were more than positive surprised - very inexpensive and good quality. We went the next day a... More

We found this place while walking around and it looked so nice, different than other places we had seen and extremely friendly staff. Unfortunately we were the only guests and because it was our last night we decoded not to have dinner but just stay for drinks. If we visit Bangkok again we will definitally go here again and try... We came across this little restaurant on our first day in Bangkok. The food was beautiful which certainly prompted us to return. They are closed on Sundays otherwise, I am sure, we would have eaten here 4 times. We had traditional Thai food...Pad Thai, Chicken with cashew, Sweet and sour pork, Satay Chicken..try the Mango Smoothie... (huge and big enough... More

Cool art and the food tasty. This cafe is not hard to find just off the main road and check out the smoothies. The prices are a little higher than the regular places, but this is not regular.

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
