Looks like nothing but the best Thai food

Happened upon this as we were lost, hot and hungry. What a find. The owner, I think, was delightful. Very attentive and genuinely concerned if we were having a nice time. We had the best meal. Not cheap by Thai standards, more like UK prices but worth it. Lovely food cooked fresh to order, you... read more

We ate here 2 nights I a row. Food and service was fantastic and reasonably priced. I would definitely return on my next holiday.

DeliciousThai food in an unpretentious and cheerful atmosphere, tucked away in a quiet soi just off the tourist track. The service is excellent and the food is cooked in the kitchen, of course. (Had the one negative reviewer even been there, I wonder?) I paid 5000 baht for a group of four, including wine and beer which seems reasonable. Will... More

On a recent visit to Bangkok staying at the Oriental Hotel I went walking in the area on the evening of my arrival in Thailand looking for a restaurant to have a meal. I love hitting out as soon as I arrive acclimatising and getting into the flow. So leaving the sleepy heads at the hotel to tuck into room... More

Found this place while wandering the streets. Great, very flavoursome food, with beautiful presentation. The juices were also very delicious. Service quick and staff were lovely. Average prices for Bangkok (AUD 10-20 per dish) but reasonable considering the quality of the food. Will definitely visit again.

Found this place while looking for restaurants after a visit to ciroco. Here's what I liked - The presentation of the food was wonderful and the service was very good. There were 2 servers permanently stationed next to our table anticipating our every need. These guys have the best juices and again, super presentation! The phad Thai I ordered was... More

We eat at Cafe Ice as often as possible each time we visit Bangkok. The food is stunning - every dish extremely tasty (at least, the Thai food - we've not tried the international stuff) . Really charming staff. Large portions, so you can easily get away with sharing. Not a cheap off-the-street-Phad Thai, but something more special. This branch... More

We were walking through the enormous weekend market in Bangkok, when we past this restaurant. The market is home to some really special food stands, but in the midst of the art corner, there was Ice. The food at some of the diners tables looked so beautiful, we almost stopped to take pictures. Instead, we noted numerous awards on the... More

What makes this different from a lot of small Thai restaurants is the decor and certainly the food. The large statuary on either side of the doorway, the eclectic mix of paintings and antiques indicate that this is a unique place. The staff is very welcoming and if you are fortunate you will meet Khun Ice who is the vivacious... More

Very friendly and attentive service. The staff looked after us very well, and were keen to play with the children. The food selection is just right, and we tried a mixture of local Thai and European, all of which was well cooked and we'll presented. The atmosphere is quirky and pleasant, with unusual objects displayed around the place. If you... More
