We eat at Cafe Ice as often as possible each time we visit Bangkok. The food is stunning - every dish extremely tasty (at least, the Thai food - we've not tried the international stuff) . Really charming staff. Large portions, so you can easily get away with sharing. Not a cheap off-the-street-Phad Thai, but something more special. This branch... More

We were walking through the enormous weekend market in Bangkok, when we past this restaurant. The market is home to some really special food stands, but in the midst of the art corner, there was Ice. The food at some of the diners tables looked so beautiful, we almost stopped to take pictures. Instead, we noted numerous awards on the... More

What makes this different from a lot of small Thai restaurants is the decor and certainly the food. The large statuary on either side of the doorway, the eclectic mix of paintings and antiques indicate that this is a unique place. The staff is very welcoming and if you are fortunate you will meet Khun Ice who is the vivacious... More

Very friendly and attentive service. The staff looked after us very well, and were keen to play with the children. The food selection is just right, and we tried a mixture of local Thai and European, all of which was well cooked and we'll presented. The atmosphere is quirky and pleasant, with unusual objects displayed around the place. If you... More

I had lunch at the Chatuchak location last year, and I just had to come back. I took my family here for dinner one evening during our recent vacation. It was a little hard to find (but most things are hard for me to find in Bangkok...), but well worth it. I looooove the food here, especially their pad thai... More

This eclectic little cafe should be one of my favourite spots in Bangkok but I just can't find a way of justifying the prices charged. With the exception of a well priced lunch menu of Thai staple dishes (circa 140 baht) everything else on the main food and drinks menus is woefully overpriced for Thailand - indeed for anywhere in... Just got back from dinner here.We tried the dishes others have raved about and found them distinctly average and underwhelming - and VERY overpriced for what they were .At 8.30 in the evening we were the only people there - which I think says a lot ! At the same time a couple of days ago Harmonique just up the... More

I ate at Cafe Ice des Arts with a group of four. The meal cost about 100 USD including a round of beers - expensive for Thailand but reasonable for what we got. I ordered the soft shell crab curry and thought it was pretty good. The best meal ordered at my table was the sea bass with green rice.... More

Ate here on a weeknight early, very quiet, pleasant ambience. The food was excellent, in taste and presentation, I tasted two curries and the deep fried sea bass and they were all delicious. All four of us ate from the Thai menu so can't comment on the European dishes. Service was very good too - they were able to make... More

Good foot, atmosphere average, price seems too high for Bangkok and for quality and surroundings. Service was good, but not extraordinary. No airconditioning, lots of fans though.
