This Restaurant is a gem. Peter, appropriately calls this Restaurant the "Peasant Inn" as this is not a fancy Restaurant, but it serves good home(Peasant) style food, good wine, and great ambiance, at very cheap prices, as compared to other "Fareng" Restaurants in Bangkok. Peter's wine list is short but of good quality. The wines are supplied by Charputier, and... More

I've read all the reviews here before mine, which I've never done before writing mine. Strangely, I agree with the good reviews and the not-so-good ones. I usually order two or three tapas and they're great. There is a large variety of tapas. The breakfasts are also very good--especially The Full Monty for 240 baht (about $7.60); it has "unlimited... I first came to Red Pinn a few days after it opened. The owner, Peter, was most friendly and helpful, and I had the feeling of being in an old-fashioned European inn. I had the full breakfast (served all day), and it was far more than I could eat--but I managed. Everything about the place beckoned me to return. And... More

I have been to this place numerous times and have always found the food to taste great, portions are more than generous, staff has been pleasant, and prices are very reasonable. It might be a bit difficult to find, but worth the search... For those nay sayers (slayers) here on Trip Advisor, my advice is that you need to be... More

We went a group of about 27 people (not easy for a restaurant), but all people loved the food and I love the choice of wine too. More

Mussels, rock lobster, braised leg of lamb, drinks that seemingly never emptied...if you're in need of delicious yet surprisingly affordable Mediterranean cuisine in Bangkok, proceed immediately to Red Pinn, talk to the owner (Peter...a Russian-trained Sinologist who left the field to pursue his love of food) and bring a few stories to share with the regular patrons who wax poetic... I went there for my birthday a few weeks ago and we all loved it. I can honestly say the lamb shank was the best I've ever had anywhere. It only came with mash so not much in the way of veg but the owner said just ask next time and he'd be happy to oblige. All of my friends... More

If you like great tasting food, good variety of wines, and good atmoshpere you will love the Red Pinn. I have eaten at other restaurant's in the area and honestly feel the Pinn is the best.. Sure like anywhere it has its moments however, I never had a bad meal and I would suggest after reading other comments here that... More

Not much to be said here really, well ok here we go... Food, a bizzaro mix of Mexican and European selections.. Mexican food that has been prepared by someone whom one could assume has never actualy eaten Mexican food before truly awful burrito, I thought I'd be safe ordering, I was wrong.. Euro dishes that my friend had I hate... More

I do not know who wrote these rave reviews but what we got on our plate was horrible. Nachos were bland, dry, old tasteless. My girlfriend had the thai glasnoodles with shrimp and pork. It was barely eatable. I ordered the Beef Stew. It was again bland, completely overcooked where everything ended up mushy like baby food. I went there... More
