This restaurant is on the lobby floor of the Le Meridien Plaza Athenee. The initial feeling is that this is another coffee shop, but the food and service are very, very good. The selections are Asian and European and feature cuisines to suit everyone. I highly recommend Rain Tree Cafe for the hungry visitor.

We had breakfast there for 5 days and enjoyed every day. Beside the delicious and every day slightly changing buffet the service was very courteous and fast. we had our dinner here on the way and found this very nice place for food. The atmosphere is warm and staffs served our food very quick and friendly. Recommend this for travelers visit Bangkok

We have visited the Rain Tree Cafe mainly for the Sunday Brunch on quite a few occasions. The Sunday Brunch is around 3,200 baht per person including Champagne, wine and drinks. Buffets in Bangkok are usually hit-and-miss but not this one - excellent! Great service, wonderful ambience, not too pricey, what more could you want?!

We went for the Sunday brunch it was incredible for 2 people we got a free bottle of champagne with our meal. As it is a buffet the quality is incredibly high and the choice is amazing would definitely return and would recommend

had seen this on trip advisor and knew we had to try when we were heading to Bangkok....OMG best buffet dinner i have ever had - lobster/king crab/oysters/green lipped mussels/caviar/steaks - even the salads were amazing - crab salad/prawn salad etc....dont even get me started on the desserts - they were so delicious - nothing was too much trouble for... Lamb cutlets are superb, melt in your mouth. Buffet well worth the visit. Staff are fabulous

Having read about it here on TripAdvisor, went to the Rain Tree for the buffet lunch on Easter Sunday.
