The Rain Tree Café has been reconceived in a modern interpretation of Thai neo-colonial interior décor + style. Three separate but complementary spaces evidencing extreme elegance and making excellent use of natural light are interwoven with threads of touching homeliness. These three unique areas are cleverly interwoven and are aptly named: The Bronze Kitchen upgraded with interactive live cooking stations, The Valaya Room with its formal library-style "VIP" space and The Secret Garden for more private affairs. Enjoy an inspiring voyage of discovery on our stunning international buffet that also features five specialty dishes of the day from our specialist head chefs. Service for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Sunday Brunch and Dessert Buffet.

We have been to this restaurant once before. We are still impressed as to the quality of their buffet. The food was delicious this time too. The waiters were very attentive and cleared away our empty plates at the moment and every time we had finished eating. The interior is nice and comfortable. It is really a pleasure to be... More

After a long period of renovation, the Rain Tree Cafe is now thankfully backed in full operation. I always thought they offered one of the best lunch and Sunday Brunch buffets in Thailand and that reputation is still intact, but now the decor is even better. More space for even more delicious choices! Great salad selections, Pasta Island, grill, huge... More

We have been dining here for over ten years now, whenever we're staying at our townhouse in Bangkok, we go there for their fabulous Sunday brunch & often for dinner. The food here is consistently of a very high, international standard. Our recent visit, yesterday, for Sunday brunch, was our first visit since its major refurbishment. All I can say... More

It's one of the popular buffet place. I like just ok. They change promotion weekly so sometimes encounter seafood buffet. Sunday branch is famous and good for small kids .

The best breakfast buffet so far. It has a wide selection of food to choose. There is hot entree from Chinese, Indian, Singaporean, Thai. Made to order omellete and noodles. The bread is always freshly baked especially the croissant. There is a cheese and cold cuts corner with good variety. The fruit corner has staff to make fresh juices and... More

I don’t write reviews often, but when I visited Plaza Athenee, it was a nice hotel. I went there to eat at The Rain Tree Cafe. It is an international buffet, and it includes all kinds of food. The food I liked the most is the spinach and cheese. It was so delicious, everyone of us enjoyed it. It’s opening... More

Just got back from dinner at this establishment. I had the serious seafood Saturday buffet. I read on here that the online reservation system is not well utilized so I had concierge at my hotel call them to make a reservation for me and I got put down for the time I wanted (yay! ezpz!). The buffet itself is actually... More

We were at this restaurant at New Years Eve. The buffet was the most unbelievable buffet we have ever seen. We enjoyed fantastic food in fancy sorroundings for many hours. The waiters were very professional and did their job very well. Thank you for a memorable evening. Highly recommended. Look for more reviews by MulleEllum.
