The Rain Tree Café has been reconceived in a modern interpretation of Thai neo-colonial interior décor + style. Three separate but complementary spaces evidencing extreme elegance and making excellent use of natural light are interwoven with threads of touching homeliness. These three unique areas are cleverly interwoven and are aptly named: The Bronze Kitchen upgraded with interactive live cooking stations, The Valaya Room with its formal library-style "VIP" space and The Secret Garden for more private affairs. Enjoy an inspiring voyage of discovery on our stunning international buffet that also features five specialty dishes of the day from our specialist head chefs. Service for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Sunday Brunch and Dessert Buffet.

Superb lunch at renovated Raintree restaurant Le Meirdien Bangkok

Sunday August 30th was the first brunch after many months of renovating by the hotel. Had the impression that even more space was created with the seating of the guests. At the same time much attention was paid to the presentation of the food. This included an abundance of fish like oysters, crab... read more

The Rain Tree Café has been my favorite venue for Sunday lunch or any celebratory meal for over ten years. The quality and service are always of a consistently high standard and return guests are greeted and welcomed like old friends. After a closure of almost 6 months for a top-to-bottom remodel, the Rain Tree reopened for dinner last night,... More

I ate at this restaurant while staying at the hotel and the food was amazing. The soup was spicy and tangy and I loved every spoon of it. Expensive for Thai standards but worth it.

One of the best. Sunday brunch here is absolutely amazing and it will not disappoint anyone. It comes with free-flow alcoholic drinks. Reservation needed.

Celebrated with a friend on her birthday and we were pleasantly surprised with the level of service given, especially Ms Waraporn upon our arrival at the restaurant. She was genuinely polite and kept returning to check on our table if everything is ok. Complimentary lobster is great and tasted sweet, while the free flow of foie gras had given the... More

When in Bangkok we always make sure we return to this place for the Sunday buffet. It was our wedding anniversary and the staff organized a cake for us and my wife received a single red rose.
