Description: Welcome to “Na Aroon” Restaurant at Ariyasomvilla Boutique Hotel and Spa...
Welcome to “Na Aroon” Restaurant at Ariyasomvilla Boutique Hotel and Spa. As you may be aware we try to produce a healthy but tasty cuisine. Our food is mainly vegetarian and we have an extensive range of seafood. We do not sell meat. We do not use MSG, food coloring, preservatives. We do use as much organic materials as we can and we try to ensure that we know the provenance of our food stuffs. We use good quality oil and properly fermented soy sauce. Please ask our staff for help on menu selection if you need assistance. Where as most of our vegetarian food is “mang sawirat” ( no killing) we can produce good tasty food for vegans and even “Jay” ( Chinese vegetarians). Please let us know if you eat eggs or not.Our western desserts are not quite so healthy but are all homemade and quite delicious! We use a good deal of fresh produce from the Kings’ project – Doi Khum – fresh strawberries, gooseberries, figs, rhubarb, raspberries – to name a few.We look forward to having you with us.

Wonderful food with outstanding service

We ate Western and Thai food both prepared with great flavors. Save room for dessert. The restaurant is worth a trip even if you are not staying at the hotel.

My sister is vegetarian, so we have been scoping the best veggie places to eat. We had the best table in the house, I guess as it was mid afternoon and the restaurant was clean and nicely furnished, echoes of Colonial Britain. As I assume them to be from films and photographs I have seen! I had Mock Duck in... More

When we arrived at the restaurant we were not expecting it to be located in the middle of a fantastic garden, right off Sukhumvit road, at the fancy Ariyasomvilla hotel owned by a very nice and professional Englishman. The vegetable based food is very good and sophisticated. We stronly recommend.

Slightly disappointing, given all the 5 star reviews on TrAd. Definitely not 5 stars, not bad though. But wine is expensive, one simple glass equals a main course ! Guess that is where (english) owner makes his money. Excellent: the prawn cakes as a starter. The rest was mediocre.

Dear Martin, Thanks for your review. Sorry you only found the food “mediocre” except the prawn cakes. Please remember that much of our fare is vegetarian – its not quite as robust as the full on Thai fare – we don’t use fish sauce, kapi, dried shrimps etc and certainly not MSG which most street food vendors use. I’m not... More

I was staying in the Ariyasomvilla for 5 nights with my husband. We had breakfast here each day and also an evening meal. The food was always very well prepared and fresh. The staff were very friendly and able to help if you wanted any dish slightly altering. The food was delicious! Especially the pomolo salad. They had a very... More

We were staying at Ariyasom Villa and got to enjoy its restaurant, Na Aroon. Breakfasts were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the breads, fruit plates, and spreads. There were lots of menu options for breakfast. Dinner was delicious. We had a traditional Thai meal. Definitely great experiences!

Nice environment however food comparatively with the price is more like simple western style and cannot distinguish the restaurant from other similar price range in Thai other than the astonishing garden view

So I came here with a Thai girl and we ordered a Papaya Salad and Tom Kar Kai. Both we've tried 100s of times in other restaurants around here. This has to be the worst of them all, by far! I've paid 50 baht on a side road to eat Tom Kai and it tasted significantly better. The Papaya salad... More

Dear Senan, Thanks for your review. I’m sorry that you didn’t enjoy our food. I just wonder if you knew that we are a vegetarian restaurant? Our papaya salad can be made spicy, you just have to ask, but we don’t use fish sauce or dried shrimps or “mengda” or any other such products in it. As for the Tom... More

you can have Vegetarian food here. (Also you can easily make your meals vegan by requesting they are made without egg or dairy) They do not serve 'meat' in the traditional sense however they do serve seafood and use eggs & dairy unless you specifically tell them not to. Authentic Thai in a BEAUTIFUL friendly garden setting with friendly staff... More

Very sweet staff and excellent food in a lovely, cosy outdoor garden! A great choice for vegetarian. Their bacon substitute was very good!
