Description: Welcome to “Na Aroon” Restaurant at Ariyasomvilla Boutique Hotel and Spa...
Welcome to “Na Aroon” Restaurant at Ariyasomvilla Boutique Hotel and Spa. As you may be aware we try to produce a healthy but tasty cuisine. Our food is mainly vegetarian and we have an extensive range of seafood. We do not sell meat. We do not use MSG, food coloring, preservatives. We do use as much organic materials as we can and we try to ensure that we know the provenance of our food stuffs. We use good quality oil and properly fermented soy sauce. Please ask our staff for help on menu selection if you need assistance. Where as most of our vegetarian food is “mang sawirat” ( no killing) we can produce good tasty food for vegans and even “Jay” ( Chinese vegetarians). Please let us know if you eat eggs or not.Our western desserts are not quite so healthy but are all homemade and quite delicious! We use a good deal of fresh produce from the Kings’ project – Doi Khum – fresh strawberries, gooseberries, figs, rhubarb, raspberries – to name a few.We look forward to having you with us.

Great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

We were lucky enough to eat breakfast here four mornings when we stayed at Ariyasomvilla. The menu has a choice of English breakfast, eggs benedict, fresh fruit, banana pancaks, and Asian specialties. The menu is vegetarian, with the addition of fish, but we didn't even miss the meat! It's such a delightful ambience—an amazing peaceful oasis in the middle of frantic downtown Bangkok. Mostly vegetarian, the food is tasty, well prepared and beautifully presented. The owner likes to come around and chat with everyone. I didn't have a reservation, but didn't have to wait for a table even though they were pretty busy. I'd recommend making a reservation... More

Beautiful place. Calm n quiet in noisy Bangkok. Nice & attentive staff. Excellent food. Equally good presentation. The interactive owner makes sure you have a good time. And its mainly vegetarian. Must for all vegetarian friends visiting Bangkok. Recommended.

We were so thrilled once we walked in the restaurant. It was like a beautiful Chiang Mai Lanna style hidden in the heart of Bangkok at end of Sukhumvit soi 1 road. Restaurant was beautifully decorated. And we couldn't believe that it's large size exists in such a center of Bangkok. Foods were very tasty for being a vegetarian. The... More

took some friends here because of the good reviews on tripadvisor and I feel very embarrassed and guilty for taking them there due to the terrible service we were given. nice food in the end but an exceptionally long wait for a table and for food. go somewhere else absolutely not worth it

Dear pumakath Whilst I’m very sorry that you didn’t enjoy your dinner last night there are some issues that should be clarified. Popularity is a double edged sword – of course we are happy to have increasing numbers coming to our restaurant but there are limits. We keep daily records and try to anticipate levels of business. Clearly we have... More

The owner or manager that greeted us was very welcoming , and this set the evening off to a great start. The food was probably the best we have had in Bangkok , this says a lot as we have had great food in Thailand all over the place.Set in an old house with a stylish interior that reminds one... More

This restaurant operates in a large house built in the 1940s. The old-style house and the leafy garden around it give it a relaxed yet classical feel, quite unexpected for its downtown location. We ordered the set vegetarian menu for two plus a som tam/mock grilled-chicken set. This was plenty for the three of us, especially as they brought (and... More

Dear ThaiXpat, Thanks for your review. Whilst I’m happy to learn that you generally enjoyed your meal I am disappointed about our service. Yes ,we do try hard but sometimes things don’t quite go as planned. We have had a couple of new staff arrive since the New Year and we are trying to train them up as quickly as... More

Excellent for Vegetarians. Extensive menu with both Thai and Western food to choose from. The place itself is in boutique hotel, very central in Bangkok, but in a quiet road. It is a unique property with lots of character, and worth going just to enjoy the atmosphere. Luckily we had a local friend with us who did the order. The... More

Excellent Thai food served in a charming setting. Exquisite appetizers followed by tasty main dishes. Traditional main dining room or enjoy being outside by the pool in the balmy January weather.

We loved the food that wasn't vegetarian centric. Couldn't say fake tofu chicken in the Massaman was great, but I'm not a vegetarian. Except for the fake chicken though the dish was very nice. The rest was great. I'm sure vegetarians will absolutely love the place. The decor, service, cleanliness and presentation was first class.

Dear TerryAustralia2015, Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I sometimes worry about the word “vegetarian” – it seems to carry a negative connotation to some. The point is that it’s meatless but not tasteless and can be healthy too. At Na Aroon we have vegetarian and seafood but no meat. The two go together very well. Actually,... More
