Not visit here for long time. The venue still so nice. The price per disk for all European food are so cheap.. But the taste are not that good. We do expect to get European taste. But our pork shop are so salty. Surprisingly the price of Thais food here are double ! We don't have chance to try. And... More

Generous portions, setting a bit more formal than the name suggests (like those old-school Thai restaurants in Germany, not as cozy as Otto's). Schnitzel was good, the menue is massive. Service was authentically German (few smiles, no Wais, no small talk).

I went to Ratsstube tonight with a group of friends and definitely enjoyed! We are meat lovers so we ordered different dishes to share, mixed German sausages, pork knuckle, kulach, smoked ham and beef salad! They were all just great and tasty. Apple strudel and vanilla ice-cream closed our night perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy with warm yellow color. Had... More

I like the place and have been here twice for both lunch and dinner with family and friends. The food is okay but rather pricey, I still want to come back though as it is a nice place where I enjoy the atmosphere while dining. Since there are still many more dishes that I want to try so I am... More

This is a good quality German restaurant! The food is genuine and tasty, and comes in very generous portions. The Grillhaxe was great!

Didn't think it possible to have a meal where the server only says 3 words...drink?...finished?...desert? I had to ask to order and for my bill after being ignored for virtually me entire visit. Schnitzel was very good and very large, home fries yummy but on the cold side and the accompanying vegetables cold, overcooked and tasteless....but it's Thailand, not Germany... More

This Bavarian style restaurant is hidden away on the grounds of the Goethe Institute in Sathorn, Bangkok. The menu is heavily biased towards beef and pork meals, including several sausage and sauerkraut dishes. Some Thai meals are on offer, but the German food is very tasty. My one complaint is that many meals come with French fries rather than mashed... More

This restaurant is always on my list of places to go when I am in Bangkok. Over many years I can say that I have always had very good meals there. The servings are huge! The Mixed German Sausage plate is enough to share with a few friends. The Rolladen is authentic in taste and a favourite. Try the Erbsensuppe... More

First time visit for dinner last night because my wife wanted Pork Knuckle and the recent TA reviews of Bei Otto haven't been good. Overall the food was OK, without being great. The supposedly 1.2kg pork knuckle is almost big enough for 2 people but pricey at 520 baht. I also ordered a pork farmers' sausage for 260 baht. The... More
