Modern Italian restaurant. Our food was definitely home made and quite good. The food presentation was original and clearly created by a chef who cares. During our meal the chef came around to make sure we were enjoying our dinner. Impressive wine list. This was a restaurant for foreigners due to price2, while not high by Canadian standards it was... My first time at the OPUS Wine Bar located in Pan Road. Entering from Silom the restaurant is located in the middle of the Soi on the right hand side with a bright neon sign bearing its name. There is parking but I suspect it could get full on busy nights. The restaurant's ambiance is nice and cosy and the... More

The tapas appetizers for sharing was very substantial, one of the best calamarias tasted and all the vegetables were fresh to a standard where I would say wow, it's amazing. The foie gras ravioli with black truffle gave a pleasant after taste with the on the house lemoncelli.

If you are looking for a break from Thai food this is a good choice but it is an expensive option. The ambiance is good and food ranges from average to very good. The home made pasta is well prepared and fresh but I would say that I was a bit disappointed after reading such excellent reviews. The ravioli portion... More

I have patronized Opus several times over the years and I am never disappointed. Fresh and tasty products that are always perfectly prepared. The exclusively Italian wine list is also very extensive, albeit a bit pricey (Thailand import taxes are to blame). All in all, always a great experience, which I enjoy sharing with friends when they visit. Highly recommended!

Still love this place, great environment, fantastic food (including very good home made pasta), good wine list and great service - need I go on! Fancy an Italian meal in BKK, this gem never disappoints. The fois gras, Ricotta and truffle oil pasta is very rich but a delight. Even the Parma and Mozzarella is of a quality you would... More

I've been to some of the best Italian restaurants in Italy and around the world, and Opus stands up to them all. Quality ingredients, great wine, and perfect simple presentations make for a delicious evening every time. Make sure to try the Mediterraneo appetizer sampler, which has two of my favorites....the burratina and the melanzane alla parmigiana. For a main,... More

Hidden away in an apartment complex between Silom and Sathorn. Worth the effort to find it. The interior is of high quality and glows a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Staff is extremely friendly and have knowledge what making you feel welcome means, next to the correct way of serving. The manager and his assistants always have a smile and willing... More

Interior - nice and cosy not typical Italian though. Staff - super attentive and nice and will make you feel comfortable. Wine list - five out of five. Food - three out of five. I took tasmanian mussles - nothing special and too much salt. Even home made gelato tasted like a cheap supermarket ice cream. Don't think will come... More
