went there with a collague and I have to say that the selection of wines is very good! but we can't say the same thing with the food ordered. average presentation, average taste, less than average with the overall bill. My judgment are just because in bkk right now there are much better Italian restaurant than this.

Blown away! The oysters begged me on their knees to eat them and how could I resist! The beef was 150 days old which just goes to show the older you are the juicier you get and the crepe Grand Marnier with home made vanilla ice cream would have made Mrs Patmore proud. Loved it!

This was not what we were expecting. We enjoyed it so much we went back again a week later! Slightly difficult to find and you wonder where you are going down a narrow street, but inside the restaurant is beautifully presented and inviting. Service is attentive and charming. I'm not a big fan of bread - but it was absolutely... More

We didn't realise what kind of place it was gong to be before we arrived and were surprised to find it very up market. It is a gorgeous place with really delicious food, it is slightly pretentious and a bit posh but the food does not disappoint. The waiter was really helpful in recommending us a delicious dry white. The... More

The charcoal grilled fillet of Alaskan snow fish with green asparagus, fennel, sliced potatoes and lemon reduction tasted delicious. So did the Pannacotta for dessert. Our waiter was not very attentive, but friendly and polite. The acoustics was terrible. Unfortunately. Look for reviews by MulleEllum.

Me and my husband visited Opus Wine Bar on 6th Jan 2016... It was our date night and this was our first visit to Opus. Boy we were surprised, nestled in the heart of the city (Silom) is this beautifully cozy restaurant with warm and inviting interiors. We were greeted at the door, and graciously shown to our corner table.... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
