Good find

Two minutes walk from Taksin pier and sky train station in a side street just off the main road. Walked past at 10 a.m. just as they were opening and stopped for a (good) coffee and had a look at the menu. Good selection of starters, soups, curry, meat and fish so booked to come back that evening... read more

Great location, in a busy side street not far from Saphan Taksin. Great choice of food on the menu - we found it hard to choose so went back for lunch another day to sample more! Service is really friendly, we sat outside which has a great atmosphere at night as there is a street market. Good value for money,... More

Four of us stumbled across this restaurant whilst shopping in Bangkok. It's on a busy little side street by a department store. We absolutely loved the food, drinks, atmosphere and location. Possibly the best meal we had in Bangkok. Excellent value, service with a smile, a little slow but not an issue. Having had a very disappointing experience at The... More

Very good Thai food, with quite some variation and not expensive. Sometimes a bit chaotic so take your time.

The food here was great - very flavoursome. The only bad thing was that you had to wait a long time for your food and the service wasn't so great. We probably waited about 45 minutes for our food. If it wasn't for the wait, I'd give it five stars. The Tom yum soup was especially delicious!

We took the last available table, so it was really packed. Orders were took fast but getting food took a while - was worth waiting though. Best satay and tom yam soup so far!

Very slow sevice as it is very popular. We must have waited 15 minutes before we could order a drink and get menus and then both drinks and food took ages to come. They should really try to get the drinks out quickly as the wait wouldn't seem so long then and, of course, they would make more money! Apologies were... More

The place is packed. Long wait for the food and they are disappointing. Maybe the staff is short handed and the food really is average. Ordered mango sticky rice which is quite good.

Right across the street from Centre Point Silom (our hotel). Definitely a go-to place. Our happy place for food while traveling around bangkok was MBK (mall) food court - amazing selection, great great quality, etc. Now that I'm enduring the cold and dreary winter in the NW USA, I truly miss MBK (and Queen of Curry). Note: some late evening... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
