wonderful food and service

This is a gem of a restaurant. We started going in 2013 based in part on reviews on Trip Advisor. We always stay at CentrePoint Silom when we are in BKK, and the "queen" is right across the street; very convenient! We went here for our first meal in Thailand! I read all the reviews and it was really close to our hotel. My husband got a chicken curry, but they accidentally gave him a mushroom curry instead. He is shy like that so he just ate it, and I got the classic Pad Thai dish. I would say overall the... More

The food at this restaurant was great. It was flavorful and spicy. However, the service is quite slow. This is a great place to eat before going on a longtail boat ride. I would definetely recommend eating there if you are in the area. The restaurant is right next to the Saphon Taksin BTS stop.

Don't be put off by the location, which is down an alley in a typical Thai shophouse. Or by the decor, of which there is almost none. This has to be one of the greatest hidden gems of Thai cuisine in Bangkok. I went with two friends and we tried several different kinds of curry with shrimp, chicken, and fish.... More

The fried dumplings and the Penang curry were both stunning. This is what makes Thai food famous. Don't be afraid to order medium or hot because the chilli is on the tame side.

All four of us left our food and we were starving after long flight. We're not exaggerating when we say the worst service we have ever experienced. 20 minutes to get a menu another 10 to order a drink and another 15 to order food. Walking over to the staff didn't help one bit. Shocking can't understand the reviews.

This restaurant offers great food at unbelievable prices - fantastic value for money. My wife and I visited Bangkok in December 2014 for the first time, on our way home from Vietnam and Cambodia.Ate great food here twice during our 3 night stay, Sat outside after drinking at Beer Corner, found ourselves encouraging potential diners viewing the menu at roadside to... The food here is great very tasty and authentic... The restaurant is small with seating inside and out ... The food Thai curry was amazingly tasty one of the best in the city... Service was extremely slow and with one one server for the whole restaurant while busy is not too smart ... Though as te food was great it's... More

If you are around Taksin- well worth popping in for a bite to eat. Good food at fair price. The owner spent time in the UK and has turned down the heat a little to suit European Taste. Located by the market opposite Robison store a stone throw from Shangri La

We both raved about the flavor of our meals, so lovely. I could tell so much care had gone into making my meal, even the pineapple smoothie seemed nicer than any other, boyfriend had the duck and pineapple in curry, he was worried, but wouldn't stop raving about how delicious it was, I had the penang coconut milk with chicken...
