We both raved about the flavor of our meals, so lovely. I could tell so much care had gone into making my meal, even the pineapple smoothie seemed nicer than any other, boyfriend had the duck and pineapple in curry, he was worried, but wouldn't stop raving about how delicious it was, I had the penang coconut milk with chicken... Delicious food and great service. Advocate picking a number of curries and sharing. Really glad we stumbled across this gem with the help of Trip Advisor.

After stumbling around the pier, somewhat lost, we found this restaurant which served incredibly good curry with such friendly service. The panang is a must and the standard spicyness is perfect.

We had tried young coconut with shrimp at a nearby restaurant. We liked it there, but the dish was taken to a much higher level here and was full of shrimp. I also tried chicken panang and cashew chicken: both were good but not exceptional. When we ordered the young coconut another time, it was not nearly as good with... More

We stayed two nights in Bangkok, and went there to have dinner the two times. :) The food is cheap, tasteful and very very good. The ambience could be better, but it's located in a small street were you can see a local market. It's worth a meal, and you will be treated very nicely. :)

We have been in Thailand for 2 weeks, staying in 5* hotels and eating in lots of 'great' restaurants and this is the best thai food we have eaten by a distance. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Right next to shangri-la...the tom kha was to die for while red and green curries were truly excellent with subtle flavours missing in most... More

If you want a good street restaurant experience, this is just a skip from Shangrila Hotel. Cheap as chips, great service with a smile. Wine comes in a box though but beer is aplenty.

We always go to Queen of Curry when we are in Bangkok. A simple restaurant but with good food. Tell them how spicy you like the curry and they will serve you as desired..

This restaurant was repeatedly recommended to us by guides when we asked where to find good Thai food in Bangkok. It was a 5 minute walk from our hotel, so that made it an easy choice. We liked our first meal there (my wife's first meal in Thailand ever) so we decided to go back a second time after we... More
