We visited Via Vai on Soi 8, Sukhumvit twice during our stay in Bangkok. First time was just a quick meal of pizza, we were very impressed by the service and quality of the pizza that we returned for my son's 7th birthday a few nights later. The menu of Italian dishes is comprehensive and authentic. We had a simple... More

I have eaten here a few times now and the service and food have always been consistently good, what I like is that when you order your food they give you chance to finish one course before serving the next, nothing unusual for a western restaurant but in Thailand you quite often have all courses arrive or nearly at the... My boyfriend and I went for a five-course meal based on a deal we bought on the internet. The five courses are crostini, soup, snack-sized pizza, pasta, and ice-cream. Overall, I consider the taste pretty mild -- probably just right for westerners but somewhat mild for the Thai. Specifically, the crostini was average; the pumpkin soup was well-done; the pizza... We have passed this restaurant on many occasions but never went in. Tonight we decided to give it a try. The food was fresh, it was excellent as was the service. It has a lovely ambience and my husband and I will definitely be back. I would recommend this to anyone wishing to taste good Italian food (they also do... More

Via Vai is a great place for evening dine in. It's a good place to eat real Italian Pizza, meaning the real stove pizza. The staff is friendly, nice, and speaks English. They are also helpful with your order, which is a rarity in Bangkok even at expensive International places. Cost for food is also reasonable.

Myself and my sister ate here the other night and were not disappointed. We are Italian in origin so can be fussy with our Italian style good, we were not let done at all by Via Via. Situated straight across from Adelphi Suites it's a fantastic choice to eat. Even the fresh crostini stick and bread they give you is... More

... but a bit expensive to be in bangkok expecially considering the quantity of the food tha is served. I also advise the restaurant Moonsoon just opposite to it.

Been to Via Vai quite a few times and it still fails to disappoint. It's a nice place to sit outside, watch people pass by and eat lunch or dinner. The staff are always friendly towards us and the dishes on the menu are exquisite - the pasta, meat and fish dishes are consistent and there are adequate portions, however... More

Good restaurant with real Italian food, staff and owner kind and willing although they lack a bit of organization. For after-dinner the animated soi 11 and soi nana are right there.

I had lunch there a few months ago and at that time I forgot to write a review. Good Italian food in Bangkok and they have a lunch buffet which is inexpensive and good. Not a gastronomic restaurant but a great place that I recommend for lunch - maybe a bit too boring for dinner...
