Excellent pizza

Me and my family stopped by atr Via Vai in Bangkok and had pizzas. We were very pleased with it and agreed it was among the best pizzas we had during our stay in Bangkok. We only came there once and only had pizzas but if I would be in Bangkok again and wanted a pizza I would go there... read more

I had a fixed-price lunch special, which was comprised of focacchia, soup, salad and pizza, all for 250 Baht. I asked to substitute the Greek salad for one of the listed salads, and offered to pay the difference in price. They add 100 Baht to the cost of the 250 Baht luncheon. A full-sized Greek salad (not a side serving)... More

Risottos, pizzas, appetizers, pizza bread and drinks were all good! It was a nice choice, though the service was slow and it was difficult to catch the staff's attention. We felt we were in a holiday spot, maybe due to the lighting style and the decorations. It was a great way to start the weekend. I still prefer Sole mio... More

I have eaten here about 10 times over the last 12 years when in BKK. So I am a regular customer when I visit. I ate here recently and cut my meal short due to the loud alcohol fuelled football followers in the attached outside bar that were watching a game. Even a gentlemen seated outside with his partner had... More

Its always a little bit tricky to go and get a nice pizza in bangkok, i've tried a lot but not I finally found exactly what i was looking for with this italian restaurant! The pan is thin, all the ingredients tasty just like its supposed to be! Plus the pizzas are pretty big! And you can order wine by... More

This is my first review on Tripadvisor and I want to reply to the comment below… I’m the owner of a Thai Tour Operator in Bangkok (Italian market) and all our clients that have been in Via Vai restaurant were 100% satisfied. The restaurant is almost fully booked every night and for my and our client’s opinions, the pizza is... More

Via Vai is a find on soi 8. This is a reasonably priced Italian restaurant that will not disappoint. They offer a great pre-set lunch deal with bruchetta and pasta or pizza for a very low price. Service is good as is their pasta. Try their penne or spaghetti Pommodoro.

One of the many signs trying to attract customers in (mainly tourists in this area) says Wood Fire oven. But the fact is that it is usually almost empty during the day and even in the evenings. The pizzas look great - and the toppings seem of being decent quality. The problem is that the pizza dough is outright boring.... More

Loved the place. Had penne ala vongele and a nice glass of Chardonnay. Food tasted heavenly. First time I ate vongele since long time. Happy encounter. Terrace is nice too. Good chairs, I like after hectic day. Nice Italian period music. Staff is Italian and provides service with charm and a smile. Super! Pleasant nr of eaters. Free Internet access... More
