Great Southeastern Chinese Cuisine

This is definitely among the top 10 Chinese restaurants that I have eaten at in my travels, and is also worthy of being Zagat rated. Two of my other top 10 places are in China, with other ones located in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. My ancestors came to the U.S. from Southeastern China... read more

Great place that is easy to miss in Chinatown. The menu is large with many pictures and English descriptions. The duck with egg noodles should definitely be on your order. The bird's nest soup (hot) was quite nice as well.. It is a sweet soup and something different. A nice interior decor and place to relax if you go at... More

We just happened to walk into this place while walking around Chinatown and had the best meal. The place is very busy but servisce was great. The waiters don't know english but at least the menu was in english.

Food here is nice and delicious. Price is high but consider reasonable. Recommend to try here with a group of at least 4 friends and the price will be more reasonable.

a genuine and authentic chinese food (Tae Chiu Chinese Style). The food is good and menu has a variety of food . the set lunch or set dinner for 2-3 or 4-5 might be a good option if you travel in Group. If not, try the a la carte menu or try their Dim Sum. hua seng hong is quite... More

This is the first branch of the restaurant. So the restaurant was originated here. It was renovated, but still not look nice. The seat is set up very tight and crowd with local customers and noisy. If you don't mind the restaurant environment and the service, the food is good. But if you prefer the better environment and service, this... More

Queing for 1 hour, then wait for another 1 hour for your food to be served. I order steam fish and the fish not even fresh, it's like frozen fish and taste mediocre at best. Don't waste your time. There are plenty of good food in Bangkok and this is definitely not one of them

I can't praise enough of the wanton noodles, shredded chicken noodles and sharksfin at Hua Seng Hong in Yaowarat. However, the attitude of the wait staff leaves a lot to be desired. We were basically hurried to finish our food in order to make way for new diners. This spoiled an otherwise delicious lunch.
