The food at this place is very fresh and service was quick, our friends had already made a reservation so we didn't need to wait to long, I personally liked their CRISPY, JACKIE and CATERPILLAR, not to miss place if you are a foodie and like to eat innovative food.

In the last months whenever I was passing in front of Isao there was a long queue of people waiting for a table: indeed a positive sign. Finally I decided to go for lunch with my wife. The food is excellent in quality, quantity and presentation. Remarkable the fact that the plates served are matching the pictures on the menu.... More

So far the best Japanese I had in Bangkok and I think it will be hard to beat it. Basically everything I tried was an explosion of flavors and textures. Great qualit, fishes melt in your mouth.. The only bad thing is that you get spoiled for sushis after that - nothing else tastes even similar to Isao's.

We had really researched where to go for Sushi for the final night of our honeymoon so we were expecting it to compare to some of the great sushi places we have been to round the world in the past. Other reviews said to book as it gets busy, so as my phone did not seem to be making calls... More

You have to accredit the Thais with wonderfully creative skills. They are able to intricately design dishes to bring them alive, i.e. 'caterpillar' roll and their interpretation of a 'dragon' on sushi plate. A fantastic blend of Japanese and South-East Asian flavours, more specially Thai, this place packs plentiful fusion Japanese dishes. For individuals who prefer blends in taste and... More

Excellent food and they aim to please. I love a restaurant that wants me to feel welcome and appreciated. Isao does just that with a cool staff and delicious menu. See you there!

We got to know of this restaurant from a friend. We saw the reviews and decided to try it out for ourselves and boy were we blown away! All the ingredients were fresh! The taste was just awesome. Very flavourful and eating sushi has never made me happier. Service was polite and unintrusive. This is easily my favourite sushi restaurant... More

The food here was amazing! Presentation of the food was cute and pretty resembling creatures as described by the title of the food item like "caterpillar" and "dragon". The taste of the food simply delighted my friends and I. Service was good too. With at least 6-7 wait staff to a crowd of about 30 people on the first floor.... More

Isao is one of our favorite japanese restaurants. They've got a wide variety of sushis to choose from. If you're a fan of fusion Japanese, isao is a must try ! You've got to wait really long.. But worth the wait ! Don't miss out on the Jackie and crunchy !

I saw they had many good recommend in here. But I still want to give for restaurant another 5 star. I went there for lunch after 2 friends of mine who were living in Bangkok and high recommend it. They are going every week. I fail in love with sushi and restaurant. :)))
