Nice and fresh.

The service and staff were just okay (could be better). For the quality of food is very good, tasty, very fresh...we love it. I think the price is kind of expensive but that's normal for Sukhumvit area, no complaint. We ordered three different dishes and they were not that big portion, but... read more

There is not much to say about this place, except, if you love Sushi, go there. Don't expect the best classic Sushi, but they have fantastic creations. my personal favoite are the Isao california Rolls. I could die for them and it might sound really crazy, but that is one of the main reasons I keep coming back twice a... More

The food is fantastic as well as creative! It is also available as delivery which is highly recommended for those lazy days. The only reason why I wouldn't mark it higher is due to the insane calamity of the place. Waiting up to an hour is not unheard of, which is telling of foods' quality. The interior isn't super thrilling... More

We was there on a Tuesday evening after reading all the reviews three months earlier. Service was excellent. Rolls and sushi had their own twist. Couldn't stop eating. Yup, worth the visit.

Went to Isao for the set lunch special. Normally you'd need reservations for any meal but it had just rained and the street had flooded. The taxi dropped me off on Sukhumvit road and walked down the street to Isao. Lunch set special B$250!! Wonderful!! Once the street drained away there wasn't a table to be had.

My wife (who is Japanese) is crazy about this place. It seems most of the Japanese community in Bangkok go there regularly. The reason for that is that it hits the sweet spot between price and quality: I challenge anyone to find equivalently high quality sushi for the same price in Bangkok. Great lunch deals. Only catch: it's a victim... More

Delicious food and excellent service! My daughter had the caterpillar roll and considered it the best maki she has ever had - this from a true connoisseur! I had the spider roll and the spicy crab maki, both of which were truly satisfying. As another reviewer noted, the fresh wasabi was a definite bonus and the edamame were especially fresh... More

I had a dinner there last week with my sister. Being in the same business I know what to expect. It was not disappointed. However, when I wanted to pay the bill with my credit card ( issued in U.S.) I was told that the credit card machine is not working so I have to find some cash to pay.... More

Isao is fun food and tasty food. Their sushi is creative with things like sushi sandwiches (where the rice is the bread). Their crispy rolls probably undermine the healthy aspect of sushi, but you can't stop eating them either. I would go back for sure - not because the FISH is the best, but because it's a fun place to... More
