To get into this restaurant, its best to be waiting at least 15 minutes before its opening hour at 17.30. The staff are very attentive, speak enough english, the food is absolutely mouth watering, I drool on each mouthful, and enjoy the upbeat unintuitive music well acoustic throughout. Great also to go alone, I've been several times, you must go... More

There are a lot of good sushi options in Bangkok due to the large expat community, but Isao is a great choice among them. Even though we live near Sukhumvit Soi 31 and have noted this busy spot for over a year now, this was our first visit. We are not sushi connoisseurs and tend to enjoy rolls the best,... More

All the fusion dishes were good especially the sushi sandwich which is really good. The normal sushi was small in size and good but a bit overpriced. Make a reservation to avoid waiting.

I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews. Being near Japanese village, I expected to have a good quality Japanese experience, even though I knew the food was intended to be asian fusion. I ordered the Volcano, which was described as a baked scallop with spicy mayonnaise, the a spicy salmon crunchy roll, and the spicy scallop... More

Its a modern Japanese place that serves amazing Sushi. Recommend the Avacado sushi sandwich, Spicy California, Crunchy and Fried Tofu. Always make a reservation a few days prior, as the queues are really long. but its worth the wait. Recommended :)

This was my third time there, and ever since I found it, I made it a point to come here everytime I visit Bangkok. The first two times were absolutely magical, but the third time left me feeling a bit cold. The sushi wasn't wrapped firmly enough and flopped around the plate(still delicious, mind), the tempura didn't seem fresh enough,... More

The Japanese fusion dishes are awesome, however the normal sushi and sashimi are not so good with it's really high price and the quality we got.
