Good Thai food, some dishes could have been better

We heard quite a lot about this restaurant and decided to head over for dinner. Upon arrival, the restaurant was running full so we had to wait for more than half an hour for a table. We were fortunate enough to get one at a cozy little corner that was able to occupy all 8 of us including 2... read more

I used to like this restaurant a lot a few years back. But not this time. Firstly, when we ordered some dishes in the menu they didn't have this, they didn't have that (for quite a lot of dishes), so I don't know why they're still on the menu. We had to reorder many times. Though the food tasted quite... More

One dining experience you can wish for affordable dining for Thai cuisine. Its easy to spot from the main road, nevertheless quite pack when it is the rush hours. No complains with menu served, everything is served as it is penned on the menu. Will definetly come back.

Just had main course and soft drinks. Food was very tasty (had the fried rice with green chillies, which was HOT), service efficient. The drinks are a little on the high side compared with the reasonably priced food.

They do the crispy cat fish with mango salad quite well, so we came back and ordered it again. This time I requested for more mango salad. They do lots of other dishes too so lots of us were able to order the different dishes we wanted and shared a good meal.

We visited the place after a recommendation from our tour guide. The place is really nice and clean, service is really good and polite and they have a huge variety of dishes.

Nice restaurant but the evening we were here it was very crowded and service was slow. Our Thai friends said this was much more authentic than many restaurants. Crumbled catfish was new to me. Pad Thai was very good. I found some of the dishes more on the sour side than in other restaurants. Very noisy due to the crowds.

Went in here on a recommendation from our hostel owner. The flavors are fresh and pungent, just as you would expect from Thai cuisine. Highly recommended.

Long wait before food was served. Above average. Satay was good. Somtam was very spicy but tastefully done. Restaurant was full and there was a queue too.

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
