The best place in Bangkok for live jazz. Unpretentious and genuine, it is obvious that the musicians here play for their love of jazz and not for the money they earn.

While the food at Brown Sugar is good. This is not why you go to Brown Sugar. You go to Brown Sugar is hear real jazz musicians. The musicians here love their music. The is music is not canned or commercial like you would hear in some of the higher brow bars in Bangkok. This is a place for real... More

My wife and i ate here on our fist night in Bangkok and was only a gentle stroll from our hotel. From the outside the restraunt looked un inspiring but it is deceptive and is much nicer once inside. We had some good quality and fairly priced thai food and 2 beers each, it cost around 600baht which isnt too... More

This a long running place to enjoy food and music. They moved to a new place, a bit far to get from the center but easy to find. The menu never changes and offers both Thai and western food at reasonable prices. The music varies, from jazz to Thai song group, but always nice and in good mood. Prices are... More

Great place for just jazz but skip the food and service if you can help it. Terribly slow, inflexible service and very average food for the prices considering BKK is such a great city for food with many places offering far better for less.

great addition to the Banglampoo scene! Live-Jazz music played by professionals, where you can actually enjoy the acoustics (unlike at their previous location behind Lumphini Park). I also found the food in all its variety very agreeable, the prices very reasonable. Definitely a Must Visit!

I spent a couple of hours here on my last evening in Bangkok, and loved it. I almost didn't go at all, because the name of the place made me slightly nervous (I am a female in my 50s, travelling alone) - but read some reassuring and very positive reviews. And decided to go check it out given that it... More

Go there for music at night, and drink. Food is not tasty and a bit pricy. The new place is much bigger than the old one at Langsuan.
