Jazz and Wine

Not really where you'd want to go for a full meal. But if it's for a few drinks and some good music you're after, this is definitely the place. Order a jug of the house wine then sit back, relax and enjoy the live bands.

Must admit that I love the live bands who come to play at this place. Music ranges from jazz to soul and acoustic, depends on the night and time. They've got quite a skill there. Good place to relax with nice music. The food is a mixture menu of thai and western. If you order thai food, watch out for... More

The bands are great at the heat starts at 12 bangkok time, arrived at 11 pm from bts national stadium with taxi,10 mins (less than 100 Bhat), sit inside for half an hour with my wife, but no one came to serve, the staff can barely speak English but you can always have fun with Google translator with the waitresses,... 180 baht for a small warm beer served by confused teenagers. Then they had the gall to add a service charge! They are taking advantage of tourists who want to have the experience of being at a jazz club in Bangkok. Not worth i

This place is in a nice road full of boutique coffee shops and book stores, we stayed nearby in the Villa Phra Sumen Hotel. The interior is very nice, with outside area on the canal, lighting was atmospheric. Service was good. We both opted for a burger and fries. Very few fries and decidely average burger. At 140THB for a... More

There're outdoor zone near canal for smoking, very good decoration & unique style.

Friends took us here. Great choice. Three super quality acts. Then open mike for very talented customers . Nice an intimate and good food and selection on beers . As good as anything I've been to in NY or Chicago . Highly recommend

Comparing Brown Sugar with The Saxophone Club is like comparing apples to oranges. Different vibes. Brown Sugar seems less commercialized and the service is attentive and personalised. Coming to the music, we expected a better band, but it was just our day. Hope to be here next time, with hopefully better entertainment.

What's wrong with the new Brown sugar? I've been to this pub many times in the past but this is the first time since they moved to the new premises.. We arrived there on Wed night (08 Oct) ~8.30pm.. We ordered a couple of beer and pizza.. Pizza was awful! I had only one piece!.. There were not many people... More
