Gianni is an Italian insttitutuion in Bangkok, thanks to the owner reputation and passion for food. I visited for lunch and went for the set menu (i didn't want to think much) and it was a great value for money. Gianni as amamzing selection of wines for any price tag, i went for a Valpolicella with my meal; Great!

Wonderful, really Italian cuisine -- in Bangkok! Not inexpensive, but worth it. Lovely environment; great service.

overpriced and ordinary. my artichoke and crabmeat starter was just that. no synergy of flavor, and yes, at 500 bahts, i can ask for synergy. the more well than medium lamb chop was just well grilled. wheres the rosemary? if it werent for the managers valiant effort in smoothing things over, id give the service a 0. they basically plopped... Gianni is a lovely Italian restaurant offering set courses at affordable price without compromising on quality. It has a nice gentle atmosphere, unpretentious and friendly. There was a wide range of menu and wine list although we did not have wine for this meal. I had two entrees instead of a main dish...both the baby cuttlefish and lobster bisque had... More

In my opinion this is the best Italian food in Bangkok in any terms, food quality, service and place. Is not cheap but you get what you pay for. Absolute quality and best ingredients. The only annoying thing, at least for me, is that there's a young foreigner waiter (probably Italian), I guess the head of the staff, who's a... More

We decided to go to this restaurant initially as it was close and we were hungry but it proved to be the perfect choice. The ambiance is fantastic, a real Italian spirit in that restaurant. The menu provided a good selection of traditional Italian dishes and there is always a pasta, risotto and dessert of the day, with a choice... More

With Enoteca italiana, this is the best Italian in Bangkok. gianni himself always walks around the tables for feedbacks on his cuisine. Start with burrata di Andria with anchovies, calamarata with seafood and zucchine, bistecca fiorentina and cantucci in vin santo. Ask Rohir as waiter (hes from Nepal), fabulous.

A little Italy in the heart of Bangkok. For a moment I was feeling in Italy and no in Bangkok. We ordered the degustation menu : 5 courses each person. The price is reasonable (1500 ++ /pers) and the dishes simple but well cooked. The staff are very kind and obliging with a special mention to Manuel the manager. Everything... More

I usually enjoy Gianni's restaurant with my close friends in Bangkok, specially in the lunch time! The food is always super fresh and the service is great. The restaurant is one the best place if you compare prices and quality.
