I'm surprised few have mentioned this but Florida is widely popular with the locals for their garlic bread (in baguette specifically). It might be that these are quickly sold out so people don't really have the chance to sample them. I definitely like their garlic bread. It used to be better though. Now, the spread is thinner and of course... More

Don't know why it is called Florida Bakery as there is nothing here like Florida. But it is the only place to get flour and corn tortillas. The corn are a bit dry, but you are in Taiwan. Cakes, cookies have a great assortment and the breads are yummy. Nice coffee, tea and drink bar.

Florida Bakery has been around for ages. They offer some nice bread and cakes and is a great place of you want some tortillas or other imported goods. I visit Florida Bakery almost on a weekly basis and I'm always satisfied, although their staff could be a bit nicer and friendlier. Their Chung Shan location has recently been renovated and... More

The bread is decent but the real draw here is are the mexican fixings. Tortilla shells, salsa, corn chips, refried beans and jalepenos)

The baked goods are overpriced, in my opinion. They have a selection of iced cookies that are cute and topical (Jeremy Lin shaped), but expensive. There is always something interesting I want, but never buy due to the price- last time they had hand dipped cherries filled with liquor. There are so many bakeries in Taipei that offer similar items... More

I returned to this bakery because my friends LOVED the pastries I bought from Florida Bakery from my last vist. The bakery must have had a face lift becaust it looks completely different, more chic and spacious. There was a cute coffee bar and I tried a cup of Cappucino. It was surprisingly good. I prefer this bakery because they... More

I came back to Taiwan this winter and was pleasantly surprised by the bakery's new look. The entire store looks neat and new. Their new logo is so adorable. I tried their new waffles and frozen yogurt. Loved it! I strongly recommend the frozen yogurt with berries in it. It's a great snack that's both tasty and healthy!

Growing up in Taiwan 40 years ago, Florida Bakery was one of the few high standard bakeries around. I took my kids to visit Taiwan this past summer and had to see if this bakery was still around. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! The store is still located at the same place, and the aroma is as intoxicating as I... More
