I'd recommend this excellent chain restaurant to all visitors to Taiwan if you are looking for a more intimate approach to "taste" Taiwan. For my Belgian lady visitor who came to Taiwan for the first time, she immediately fell in love with the restaurant once she saw the well-organized and aroma-filled restaurant setting after walking into the restaurant. We always come for their healthy and nice food especially in Tai Chung. Unfortunately the outlet in Taipei Fuxing N. Road disappointment us deeply. We came in at 9.14pm on 20/11/2014 and was greeted by a man which bring us to our seat and repeatedly remind us no food order after 9.30 and walk off. Afterwards we were greeted by... More

Was taken out by some friends for dinner and enjoyed the spot. Family friendly location with brisk service, excellent food options, and good location.

We were brought her by family who both ordered and paid for our meal so I can't comment on price. However we had a wonderful lunch in a beautiful setting on the second floor. There are many dumplings and soups also fixed meals with several courses of dishes made with tea. All had different tastes so a good variety .... More

A fun place to try dishes with tea cooked as one of the ingredients. Dim sum style of small dishes are interesting to treat guests. There are branches in Canada so guess the creativity works well.

It was hot and humid, so we stopped into Cha for Tea for an orange juice and a green tea with fruit. Both were great, very good flavors. Good prices and not too busy!

So, in Taiwan, this place is actually not that bad. However, here in Irvine, the food & drinks are only mediocre if comparing to Taiwan flavor standard. Bubble milk tea is terrible when comparing to Class 302(less amount with not so right flavor.) Food is ok-ish. It's not fantastic but if you really want some Taiwanese cuisine...and you're not able... More

Cha For Tea's speciality is tea-based cuisine, from tempura tea leaves as a snack to tea oil flavoured noodles. All of it is very tasty and there are reasonable veggie options.

We went here for lunch. Food was good (I had green tea chicken and the lycee mousse). It was a nice experience, but we found the price was high. You can eat just as well or better all over Taipei. Service was slow.
