The quality and freshness of the food was on point. They had a gazillion flavor of dumplings and xao long bao. It's a trendy spot but very solid food. The only pain that it's over crowded and there's quite a long wait to get a table. The seats are crowded and tight inside too. But the food is still worth... More

Always love having this in Singapore! But when we were at Taiwan, we just had to go! The queue was insane but after waiting for about half an hour, we finally got a place to sit on one of the higher levels. Their 小籠包s (dumplings) are the best and we also had some other dishes which never fail to satisfy!

You could walk by the front and miss it except for the crowds waiting to get in. We fortunately found the restaurant while looking for mango shaved ice at night. Very close to the Xinyl Metro station, Excellent dumplings and sauces (house special spicy sauce a must). Food kept to it's reputation. Found the steamed taro bao was lighter and... More

In most of the branches restaurants you need to wait in line for 40-70 minutes, so you need to come early (around lunch/dinner time), take a number and find something else to do for an hour. Totally worth the wait!!!! Every thing I tasted was superb.

I have been to Din Tai Fung around the world and it never ceases to amaze at the consistency of the service, and flavour of their signature dishes. The xiao long bao here is one of the best I've had and the freshness can't be beat. However only Din Tai Fung make the special truffle and pork xiao long bao... More

Long queue out, good sign. In a minute a hostess introduces herself and offers you a menu. So the waiting time shortens. After 15 minutes our table was ready. We order beers, bamboo, rice, dumplings, buns, and so many delicious things... Everything was great, service, ambiance, food, even runners and cleaners. Bill with alcoholic drinks and huge amounts of food...20$... More

You can find a few places in Taipei as good and for less but the service here is hard to beat. They always have english and japanese speaking staff on. The dumplings are delicious but don't miss the spicy soup...to die for seriously. Fried pork chop, sauteed greens and a few tall taiwan beers and we're a happy couple. Bring... More

Foods in Taiwan are great. But the problems for foreign visitors eating at typical taiwanese restaurants are that the tables, floors and toilets are not clean, the noise is very high and the services are not good. Ding Tai Fung does not have these problems for foreign visitors, without losing a local taste. I used to go to Ding Tai... More
