Famous Sanxi Hall tea house at the top floor of Taipei National Museum is closed since August 2015. We were counting on the tea house to break the 4 hours something visit at we did at the museum, and there are no alternatives. Within easy walking distance of the museum with well made meals. After spending the morning in the Palace museum, this place was a welcome place to relax and enjoy lunch before going back to the museum. Great selection of bubble tea, and the dim sum is excellent. What a treat to have a meal in Sanxi Hall (name for Emperor Qianlong's study). 罐湯包 (broth) was superb. So were the porridge, yam paste and the tri-coloured pastries. Thumbs up!
