the name was changed from Masala to Maharaja. the indian bread very tasty, we ordered 3 portions. big choice of vegetarian dishes. the service is quick. the mango drink is very delicious. on my opinion portions are bit small compare to the price. but still i like the food very much.

The cooks are actually Indian and unlike a lot of foreign cuisine in Taiwan, the cooks have not made it a "Taiwanese fusion." Although, a little expensive, it is totally worth it. The all you can eat nan bread and rice is a nice feature too.

For many years Tainan lacked an Indian food restaurant so Masala (now Maharaja) was a welcome addition. The decor is great and service is nice. The waitresses can speak English. The food is quite expensive compared to local food but compared to the West is a steal. We often order the Dinner for 3 and it is enough for four.... More

The restaurant is nice and the taste is Authentic. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant and we could not leave out the taste of food. It is so authentic to North Indian style and we also got some food packed. It is also nice to see Taiwanese staffs in Indian wears
