Have recently returned from a short trip to Kathmandu, and stumbled across the Rangoli Family Restaurant. It is within walking distance of the Grand Hotel in a small shopping complex - The Chandi Complex. It is basic, but very clean and you can see the chef preparing meals behind a large window.
