Home style cooked food. The place is shut down for now. Not sure if it will open again. My friends and I came here to eat breakfast. We had friendly service.

Food was bad, pork was hard and tasteless. Service was non existent. Waitress never came back and we kept asking about a check. The host had no idea what was going on and was unable to sit people at tables without causing problems. Go to...Arbys instead.More
Local food (down home cooking) with daily specials. We enjoy ordering a pie with ours as well - watch out because the pieces are large!
Great Breakfast! Our couple friends and my husband and I rode there are motorcycles and has such a wonderful breakfast!!! The service easy top notch! The food was great and the price was reasonable!!!
All I can say is stay away from this Place! Horrible service small portions just not a good experience.
A bus load of us showed up unannounced at lunch time and this place really came through. They took us on, worked as a team, and got us all fed some delicious food quickly so we could make our tour of the Eisenhower Center. Hamburgers...and Fries very good. So were the Chicken strips and Country Fried Steak. They have an extensive menu of entrees, sandwiches, and salads. Recommend.More
This Is across the street from Dwight D Eisenhower Museum & Library. I grew up in the Missouri country side. It had the tastes of my youth, chicken fried steak, ham & beans, large portions of beef sandwich and gravy. Almost everything came with mashed...potatoes and bread. Good food at reasonable prices.More
Time to get together for Cacciatore. Absolutely delicious ( which is awesome ) of course! Perfect for everyone. Of course. Ready for my turn! Delicious of course! Good food atmosphere and lots of fun!
Tucked away in the back (east) corner of the Old Abilene Consignment Shop (just south of the Eisenhower Presidential Library), this local restaurant serves large portions of home-cooked favorites. The meat in hot roast beef sandwich was abundant and flavorful (think Grandma’s). If not hand-breaded...(we debated this), then the chicken strips certainly were a step above the norm. We snagged the last cinnamon roll of the day (they close at - open some evenings at 5 for supper), it was better than most we’ve had earlier in the day. We’ll be back.More
After dinner mostly every night we look for a place to have a beer. This place was a very friendly and cheerful saloon. Very Kansas and cowboy. We sat at the bar and chatted with the customers and bartender. The place was readying to close....The gift shop was attached to the bar area but was dark, seemed closed for the night. Had some local beers on tap. Very enjoyable.More
Thank you for coming in! We appreciate it. The gift shop is open during the day and they do have a lot of wonderful items available.
Great fried chicken w/all the fixin’s!! The last time I was here Brookville Hotel was in Brookville. The food was every bit as good as I remembered.
There aren’t a lot of options in this town. We had Saturday dinner there. The staff was nice and the food ok. Learned about Dorothy Lynch dressing-liked it!!! Not a lot of choices, but good value. The bar wasn’t well stocked.
Sherry R We will work harder at stocking the bar. What was missing? We'll be sure to have it for your next visit. We recently went under new ownership and we are working towards a offering a great experience for all customers. Thanks
This is a must visit for breakfast, in my opinion. The homemade cinnamon rolls are worth driving across town from I-70. They offered dinner on the weekends, which was delicious as well, offering homemade pies! Definitely a favorite!More
Thank you Joe M.! I am glad you enjoyed your visits to our restaurant. I agree the cinnamon rolls are so good. Our Steakhouse (weekend dinners) has just been opened for a under a year and we are getting great feedback. We are open for...More
Enjoyed a nice quiet lunch after touring the presidential home and library. Good fish and chips along with a tasty tuna fish sandwich. Nice friendly service.
Had the Philly steak there , there is a kid menu . You just seat yourself. Very casual with quick service and friendly waitstaff. French toast special was awesome with eggs and sausage.
