Dined here last week. They had Bhutanese buffet. The place is supposedly a popular restaurant for Bhutanese food but I personally found it pretty bad. The food was cold and tasteless and the staff seemed disinterested. Avoid this place.

We had dinner here our first evening and it was a great introduction to Bhutanese food. They provided a lot of different dishes in generous quantities and also introduced me to the delight of Druk 11000 beer. Worth a visit.

A friend and I were a little late in seeking dinner, the restaurant was still open but dinner had finished. Nonetheless, the team were able to accommodate us and 5 or 6 really excellent dishes were produced without fuss or drama. The staff were charming, the local ara excellent (hints of sandalwood), I also particularly liked the mashed potato and... More

I had the lucky experience to eat at this fantastic restaurant on two separate occasions on mt recent visit to Thimphu. Yes it is a tourist eating house and yes, if you manage to arrive with a bus Lad of tourists it is a little crowded and hectic, but that is all part of the experience. The seats are designed... More

If they have buckwheat noodles from Bumthang or green momos from Haa, make sure you give them a go! If you are here on a guided tour, chances are that you will have eaten here already. It is good Bhutanese food, but usually a buffet set up for the tour groups coming through. Fine for groups, but the Folk Heritage... More

A very nicely decorated restaurant which our Bhutan Stunning Tour guide brought us to for lunch. We really enjoyed the food which I had 2nd serving (I don't usually ate so much). The chili that they had was really good and it goes well with the chicken glass noodles. Spicy and hot in a cold weather that kept us warm... More

Only tourists were eating here and once again food was simply placed in front of us with no explanation prior to service delivery about what was being served. As we are vegitarian we had to politely decline 02 of the dishes.

Average food , nice sitting , conveniently located ....we hope to get very unique traditional food but it was blind..... the best would be if they keep their menu more Bhutanese since they claims to be traditional

I went here for lunch- service was excellent, food was excellent- if you're into spicy food you'll like the chili-cheese dish. Clean bathrooms.
