Very good meal in pleasant surroundings

I was taken as a guest to the Marlin and was told that it was one of the best places to eat in Lusaka. It didn't disappoint. The décor is nothing special to look at and, if I am honest, resembled a café, although there were tables cloths and proper cutlery, etc. The place was packed, even though... read more

Went to Marlin on the recommendation of a friend. The pepper steak is really good - thumbs up. However, the place is too dark, windowless. The food was good, so I did return, but it would benefit from some revamping.

For really great no nonsense meals the Marlin is the place. Pepper steaks are the signature dishes. Good buttered curry.

The best pepper steak Lusaka or even Zambia has to offer! The food overall is delicious and definitely worth the money you spend. Great atmosphere in the restaurant as well.

I am sure a long time ago Marlin was the best restaurant in Lusaka and people still refer people to go there. However as a 30yr old Zambian there are several other restaurants I would recommend because they have a better decor, more space, a wider variety besides steak and tastier array of vegetables. If you are a steak lover... More

In my view the Marlin Restaurant has the best food in Lusaka. If you want to enjoy a good meal try Marlin.

A nice restaurant. They prepare very nice fish and are well known for their steaks. A bit pricey but money well spent.

Nothing to dislike. The food was awesome!!! You can bring your own wine and they will charge a minor corkage fee.

My colleagues book this regularly for lunch and I must say the pepper steak is amazing (and huge). There's nothing much else worth having on the menu unfortunately and the ambience is very colonial and stuffy. A bit of a throwback if you're into that sort of thing but becoming very tired. Service is generally poor.
