Farewell dinner

Whilst the food is consistently good at Marlins, the pepper sauce the signature dish, the service is erratic and dependent on the particular waiter allocated..

Compared to the other places in town this restaurant inside the Lusaka gymkhana is priced decently, serves a delicious pepper steak, lamb chops, the prawns! Pretty good salads, and a good range of alcohol !! :) enjoy a chilled beer or a glass of wine with ur pepper steak :D

I've been visiting for Lusaka for five years, and every year without exception I return to Marlin. The pepper steak is consistently delicious and tender...I hope I get to eat hear again in the future...

Great food and atmosphere. Have been coming here for years and this is the most consistently good restaurant I have been to in Zambia.

I have had the Best steak in Lusaka at Marlin Restaurant at the Lusaka Club. I had a Mushroom Steak Medium and was this steak juicy and soft. Money well spend.

The food was delicious, traditional fare. Service was a little slow -but understandable with the diverse range of hot meals ordered by our large group. If you are looking for a good portion size of traditional heart warming food and old fashioned dinner house ambiance - this is the place.

This is a Lusaka institution, but I'll never quite understand why. Not the nicest setting. Food is OK, but not great, and not plentiful. Service is meh. There are much better restaurants in Lusaka.

Despite some promising newcomers on the scene, Marlin retains its place at the top of Lusaka's small and growing restaurant scene. Steaks are done correctly and the service is quick and responsive. The latter is a rarity here, so it's nice to go to Marlin for a bit of a change,
