Often had diner in La Parrilla as boss was very charmed of this restaurant. Food okay, very good service. I once was charged twice for a dinner we had over there and money was deducted at the next visit. No problem. I loved the carpaccio.

I just spent 4 months in Dakar the last year and despite the city and its people continue being quite surrealistic, to have a dinner in a place like this is the worst option you can ever take. Some Indian friends took me to this place long time ago and they took me again this time. Last time, as they... More

La Parrilla is my favorite restaurant in Dakar. The beef is imported from Argentina and it is awesome. My favorite steak is the “Lomo” – get it “à point” (medium) and it melts in your mouth. The cheesecake for dessert is also to die for. I’ve lived in Dakar for a year and this is, without a doubt, my favorite... More

Excellent food and wine and service, but a bit pricey for what you get. Portions are the right size and service is the best in Dakar.

We were invited by our daughter who is living in Dakar. Really a surprise such a "cool" restaurant in Dakar's center. We enjoyed a very forthcoming service and delicious beef filets. Don't forget to reserve, because you will not be the only one wanting to have dinner here.

The finest meat you can find in Dakar, complete view on the kitchen -which is an insurance on the standards of hygiene- and a fair selection of South American wines (an asset for those who are tired of the French wine monopoly in town). The restaurant is small, two rounds of clients per table: you need to book (also for... More

The filet is great. The wine is excellent. The grilled veggies are beyond tasty. The service is improving. But man, the burger is arguably the best one in all of Dakar. Perfectly cooked on a beautiful brioche bun. My friends laughed when I ordered the burger b/c you go to La Parrilla for steak, but they were ALL jealous when... More

Overpriced rip off! They charge you 60 USD for a Kobe beef and serve you an normal beef. And when you complain, they give you a lame excuse. but their desserts are very good.

La Parilla has been around for 2-3 years but somehow doesn't seem to have been able fully to live up to it's preferred reputation as the Premium steak restaurant of Dakar. The decor is quite flash and the grill area behind the counter looks impressive and promising but the Argentinian steaks taste rather ordinary and certainly not as good as... More

This restaurant has spectacular interior design but I found the food rather ordinary. The staff was efficient but managed to make me feel very unwelcome. The overall tone is pretension. If that is your thing, this is your place.
