Great authentic Japanese cuisine

The best Japanese in Dakar. Fuji offers an excellent choice of authentic Japanese cuisine including excellent fresh sushi & sashimi as well as miso soup, edamame, tempura, teriyaki, teppanyaki etc. etc. with a wide range of the less run-of-the-mill fish for the first two. Great hot saki... read more

The most well known Japanese restaurant in Dakar. Ok I admit eating sushi in Senegal is a stretch, and we should be thankful we even have a Japanese restaurant, but if you've ever eaten in a traditional Japanese restaurant, you will be disappointed. I'm not saying it was bad, but very average, especially considering the outrageous prices! Special shoutout though,... More

Lots of authentic Japanese choices you won't find on many menus. Proper sencha teas, and a good lunchtime bento box.

If you like sushi, high quality and cozy ambiance here is the place, rather for dinner or lunch. Yes it' s expensive but Dakar in general is an expensive city. At lunch you can try their box ( combo option) very good!

One of the best restaurant I have ever eaten in Dakar but boy when the bill came i nearly collapsed. There is also a very interesting mix of senegalese celebrities and lots of white frenchies so feels a bit less local than most restaurants. But definitely recommend it if you have deep pockets!! A friend tok me there in 2011... More

Some people don't trust raw fish in Africa. No problems here at all. High quality, amazing taste even for the simple salad to start but the prices are so high we didn't go as often as we wished. One of the best Japanese restaurant of the continent.

It's hard to find the place, because the entrance is almost invisible from the Street, it's exactly next door to famous Ozio. Nice place, decor is cool. Sushi is fine and service is OK. But is TOO OVERPRICED !!! I take 16 rolls + sparkling water bottle = 27 euros / U$S 35,5 !!!!! Pas de bon tempura.

Nice sushi in a sleek setting. The Spicy Tuna Salad is amazing and the portion is huge. The rolls are high quality and the service is attentive. As with everything else in Dakar though, this restaurant is way overpriced.
