I've lived in Senegal for a few years and it's always a treat to find a restaurant that is authentic, tasty, reasonably priced with great ambiance. Look no more! Le Ryad has it all. The owner, Sadia, is a delight and takes every opportunity to make you feel welcome. The staff and service are excellent. And if you like Moroccan... More

A warm welcome is assured for all guests by the owner, Sadia. Le Ryad serves really authentic Moroccan and other North African cuisines in a comfortable Moroccan setting with tables inside and out. The Tadjines are to die for... as are the slow pot-roasted shoulders of lamb. A good selection of Moroccan wines, too

This is a really cozy Moroccan restaurant owned by a nice lady called Sadia, who goes out of her way to make you comfortable and suggest what to have if you are uninitiated in Moroccan cuisine. I was staying for a conference at the nearby King Fahd Hotel and visited this restaurant twice for dinner. A meal with a drink... More

Nice atmosphere and decor (though tables are really too low to properly enjoy dinner). Food is good but not exceptional. Rather pricey.

The Couscous Imperial is incredible. I also had tadjine du poulet for lunch the other day; half a chicken in a rich spicy sauce with a side of semolina bread. Excellent! The staff is really friendly and the ambience is lovely. Highly recommended.

I love Moroccan cuisine and can never pass up an opportunity to sample some. In this case, I'm so glad we stopped in! The setting is lovely, the service was excellent, and our food was superb. I had couscous with lamb and vegetables and it was the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Their prices are reasonable. I must... More

My wife and I were looking for another restaurant and found, Le Ryad. We were glad that we chose to eat at this Moroccan restaurant in the Almadies area close to the airport in Dakar. The staff and owner were friendly and helpful. We don't speak French so it can be a challenge ordering, but we had no problem. The... More

Best Moroccan food I've had outside of Morocco. Reasonably priced for the area, and a great selection of Morocan favorites. Outdoor dining was made more pleasant once the attentive staf brought some insense out to keep the ever present mosquitoes away. Highly reccomend for anyone looking for good food outside your overpriced hotel. Accpetably authentic for Senegal, but would have... More

I would definetly recommend this restaurant. The food was outstanding. Service was great we sat in front of a fan to keep Mosquitos away.
